There was another very articulate Pea. She was from California, Jewish, had one child (boy), her mother had passed away and her husband travelled a lot for work? I thought she was very well-spoken.

I miss Brekke (not sure if that's exactly how her name was spelled). She lived in the south and worked as a nurse. She was blond, and she was beautiful inside and out. She finally found her prince charming after waiting for many years and they got married and were building a house. We were Facebook friends and she was a Pea, but at some point she disappeared. Still miss hearing about her happily ever after. I loved her! Wanted her to move to CA to marry my DS. I remember that! LOL

Here's Kami's Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe: I spent a few weeks coming up with this recipe. I make a batch of chocolate chip cookies at least once a week and sometimes twice with a recipe that I came up with a few years ago. That recipe uses my mixer and more bowls and a lot more time! I still love that recipe, but I wanted to come up with one where I didn't have to use my mixer and a bunch of measuring devices. These are super soft and STAY that way, easy and only require a few ingredients. I've made them for just about everyone I know and they have always been a hit. So I thought I would share. Mixing this up only takes a few minutes in a medium sized bowl!! Kami's Chocolate Chip Cookies 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder 3/4 cup melted butter 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar 1 egg 2 tsp vanilla 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. Combine flour, baking soda and baking powder in small bowl. Set aside. 3. In a medium bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla until well blended. Add flour mixture and stir until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips. 4. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. And a few tips for everyone: I ALWAYS line my cookie sheet with parchment paper. I tear off 5-6 sheets of parchment paper (same size as the cookie sheet) and lay them all out on my kitchen table. Then I put the my cookies (drops of dough) on each paper so that I just have to slide the paper onto the sheet and pop it into the oven. I bake the first one (on parchment paper ON the cookie sheet), take it out and immediately slide it off the sheet onto my kitchen table where it cools completely on the parchment paper. I immediately slide the next paper full of cookies onto the cookie sheet and into the oven. Then I keep repeating this process until all the cookies are finished baking. This process saves SO much time for me! The dough is ready to go onto the cookie sheet as soon as one batch is out of the oven and my cookie sheet doesn't even touch a cookie. I think the parchment paper makes for a really nice cookie. Also, this is a slightly crumbly dough, so don't think it needs more liquid. If you don't overmix them, the dough will just barely stick together and that's how it should be. And last but not least, do not overbake them. Pull them out of the oven when they get to a nice golden brown, not the darker brown that most chocolate chip cookies are. Happy cookie baking!!!

I miss Migone (not sure about the spelling) Her avatar was black white and green and was of a woman with, I think a Hat. I also Miss Mrs. Tyler. She sounded like such a great teacher and I appreciated her perceptions on middle schoolers.

She and I are polar opposites in practically every way, but I still enjoyed her posts. And I thought she was quite unfairly treated some of the time. So many times I saw her being attacked but she remained graceful under fire. Just my thoughts, I'm sure some will disagree.

What about Cara from Texas? She had gone back to school and studied ASL. She had two sons, one on the spectrum and was hilarious and so wise. I can't remember if she made the jump or not.

I always wonder about Tina. It might have been TinaFB, but I'm not sure exactly. She had boys - 4 or 5 of them and I believe they lived on the east coast. Her oldest might be a sophomore in high school about now. I also wonder about another pea that was married to a military man and she had 2 boys, who would also be in high school, and she was really good at home improvement projects. On her blog, maybe 3 years ago, she was documenting the floor project she was working on in an older house. She had great remodeling skills. She lived in the Midwest or on the east coast. I know it was somewhere on the right half of the country, lol. Gosh, I wish I could remember her name. Oh, man, I remember the second person but I'm drawing a blank on her name. That will drive me crazy!

That is so wrong that someone would do that to mrs. Tyler. I was impressed with how she approached her classes, as it appeared from her posts and I liked that she stood her ground.
