Here's one from a very long time ago...there was a pea named Erin who lived in Michigan, but her family was in Canada. She had a little boy named Jake or Jay, can't remember. Erin was funny! I would guess that her boy is about 8 or 9 now. She did move back to Canada and I believe she had another baby. I started visiting 2peas in July of 2004, and maybe she was on for my first year or 2 at peas. Ring a bell, anyone? I remember her...I think her son was Jay.

I miss Brekke (not sure if that's exactly how her name was spelled). She lived in the south and worked as a nurse. She was blond, and she was beautiful inside and out. She finally found her prince charming after waiting for many years and they got married and were building a house. We were Facebook friends and she was a Pea, but at some point she disappeared. Still miss hearing about her happily ever after. I'm friends on FB with her and she now has a little boy! She is doing photography full time now, I think. Her company is called Wagon Wheel Photography. I just checked out her website...I would love to have her photograph my family! She has a cute little boy. I'm so glad she is doing well.

I've been wondering about BeckyTech. She posted here a few times but I haven't seen her in quite a while it seems like.

Another one: She was around my age I believe (making her about 31 now). Was a teacher and had recently gotten engaged and was having a DIY wedding.
And I remember a guy who some how found the peas like in 2008. He had recently lost his Mom and was from Utah. Anyone remember him?

I also miss Blackberry Lou. I tried to find her blog, and another scrapbooking/card blog (Obsessed with Scrapbooking by Joy) linked to a free online class Lou was hosting. Unfortunately the link went to the homepage of the blog server/starter page instead of Lou's blog.
Googling was a bust because most of the returns were for Blackberry devices.
I really liked Blackberry Lou's layout designs. She's got an amazing gift.
Another pea I miss is Tyra from Chicago. The last I remember about her was that she had recently gotten married again and was settling down with her family.
I also miss Sister BDSQ. I just saw a photo last night that she would have loved. It was of a 3 legged boxer mix with a huge roasted bone in her mouth. At first glance it looked like she was eating her leg... I remember BDSQ telling us about how she would ask her dog where her leg was and then answer in a high voice "It's in the landfill, Mama!". I loved her sense of humour.

I still wonder about Megan (APMegan?), Blackberry Lou, and the pea who found out her husband was living a double life (Andi?). I wonder how she and her daughters are doing. Blackberry Lou is my friend on Facebook. She seems to be doing well, as are her 3 kids. She's raising beautiful little lovebirds.

I hope scrappower is ok. I didn't often agree with her, but I do miss her contributions to the board. The thread with her picture in it, and her responses were so strange...I hope she is ok.
I also miss Mrs. Tyler.
Berrysmoothie never made it over here. She had recently found out her DH had cheated with her best friend when the board shut down...I wonder how she is doing.

I remember most of these peas - wow, that's digging deep! Some of these peas I see around on FB and they are doing well.
I just want to know their secrets for severing ties. My participation here goes in waves, but I don't think I would ever completely leave.

Think it was right around the first vintage show I set up this year, which was March. I probably wouldn't have came back when I did unless I had several 'the peas are looking for you' messages on FB.

I remember she moved to AZ to become a dispatcher or something like that...wonder how she and her hubby are. I love all these old memories (and I can't believe I've been here almost 15 years)!

Another pea I miss is Tyra from Chicago. The last I remember about her was that she had recently gotten married again and was settling down with her family. I'm pretty sure she is still here, as tyra. I think that's the same Tyra, anyways. She's on the Christmas card list, and I was assuming it was her.

And I can't say I've ever really been tempted to leave. I would miss this place too much. I started Lurking back in 2000 when up all night with babies, so so many of these names are familiar to me. As for breaks, it's so easy to get caught up in all the drama, spending way too much time in pea land to the exclusion of more important things. That happened to me where I felt like I had to constantly check what the peas were up to - to the point that I forced myself to disconnect from the old site for awhile. And, yes, I missed it. A lot. At first it was torture trying to stay away and get other things done, but eventually I was successful and it got easier. But I always knew the peas were there and I could jump back in when I needed them.....I sat out for about 3 years, not allowing myself near the boards. Then I got an email and learned that 2Ps was shutting down, and I panicked that i'd forever lose touch with my pea friends (something no one I know IRL comprehends, BTW) and I had to know how they were doing. I was thrilled to find this site the same day and see so many familiar names and avatars. And while I try to limit my pea time these days, I still check in often. This place is a bit like Hotel California.
