There was aPea who had three little boys and was a teacher. I think there was an issue with spending perhaps with her husband. Some of the peas jumped on the bandwagon and drove her off. I really enjoyed reading about her boys and was sad to see her go. Does anyone remember her name? I wish all of these lost peas would check in and see that we are a friendly group and return. I miss reading about so many of them.

I loved Hunzer and her sense of humor. It would be great if she found us here.

Who was the one who several peas sent money to to help with medical expenses? She had a kidney transplant I think and was on an expensive medicine. It came out that she and her husband had a fund for a trip to Disney with their kids? Seems like she lived in the Bay area.

I remember most of these peas - wow, that's digging deep! Some of these peas I see around on FB and they are doing well. I just want to know their secrets for severing ties. My participation here goes in waves, but I don't think I would ever completely leave. pudgygroundhog -- I totally agree. I don't spend nearly as much time on RefuPeas as I did on the original 2Peas (and I definitely don't post much at all) -- but I don't think I would ever completely leave either.

I miss reading about so many of them. I think you are referring to Amanda? She had two sons and then remarried and had another little boy. I remember his name was Tommy. She lived in Central Illinois and her husband was living in Florida. Before they were married, I recall that he joined Two Peas and basically told everyone they were bitches, so she had a hard time convincing everyone that he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Last I remember, she was planning to move to Florida to join him. (She posted here when she was married to her first husband. He was in the Navy, I believe and ended up doing something weird like wandering around hugging a pillow in the street in the middle of the night. As I recall, he ended up in the brig and she then divorced him.)

Are you thinking of Amanda? Her XDH was military and was caught doing something illegal. They divorced and she moved north to where her parents lived and eventually remarried.

Burning Feather and I were posting at the same time. I seem to remember that the first husband had been accused of something illegal, THEN he was wandering around trying to appear to be mentally challenged. Seems like he was either stealing from the PX or buying things at the PX with his military discount, then reselling on Ebay or something. Is that right?

The buying from the PX and selling them was 8675309 and it was ipods. I have no earthly idea why I know this.

My participation here goes in waves, but I don't think I would ever completely leave. I go back further than I thought, I suppose, because I remember them too. And I can't say I've ever really been tempted to leave. I would miss this place too much. Me too! I was so upset when 2Peas was over, I worried that I would never find a group like this. It's like we need a "place to go in case of emergency" if this board would ever close. I was so happy when this board was set up so fast!

Does anyone remember The Pub board on the old board? When I first joined in 2003, I spent all my time on General Scrapping and The Pub. There was a morning thread on the Pub and it had "regulars". Then everyone just stopped the morning thread one day. I really missed those peas!

My memory's a bit hazy on this, but does anyone remember a pea from the old board who had some sort of Princess Leia avatar--and some funny Star Wars-ey shtick? Her username may have started with a Q???

Yes I'm sorry that Mrs Tyler left. She and I are polar opposites in practically every way, but I still enjoyed her posts. And I thought she was quite unfairly treated some of the time. So many times I saw her being attacked but she remained graceful under fire. Just my thoughts, I'm sure some will disagree. I miss her and her mom! I didn't agree with her politically, but I love to hear her thoughts. I also loved her teacher advice! mrs Tyler's mom was a pea??? How'd I miss that one.

#1Buckeyefan (Stephanie) Boatwife (Stella) dnkysmommy (Lorrie) I am FB friends with many of them and a good number of Pub regulars from the old days. Some even still scrapbook and are still involved in various aspects of the craft industry. (I am in such a medical mode, I first typed craft "injury!" LOL)

I had a different user name, perhaps my real name... Kerry Mohondro? I can't remember, but for some reason started a new profile as k8smom later on. There were so many peas I idolized, back then the Garden Girls were the bomb! I always enjoyed Kelly Edgerton... she had a blog too The Edge of Reason I think that I used to read, and she was also active on the big brother threads. Also LemonaideStand or something like that, where did she go? Pete Sweet is one of my FB pea friends from the old peas board and I tell ya, I want to be that girl in my next life! She has such a great perspective on life and is a hoot! Also Christine Z who lives in Georgia, we used be virtual buddies and miss her. Also I think Keisha Campbell was on the old board but not here... that girl has so.much.talent. Too many dear peas to count but I sure enjoy you ALL!

I thought of Jody Wenke yesterday. I'm not sure if she was a Pea, but was a simple scrapper. Her oldest daughter had cancer and recovered. I read her blog, but stopped when blog reader shut down.
Her blog is now private. She seemed so grounded and I loved her style. I wonder about her daughters, the youngest two are similar ages to my kids.
It was kinda cool, not in a stalker way, to sorta share mothering phases with the public scrappers. Cathy Z 's kids are also similar ages.
I should stop writing. Probably sound worrisome.

deanna and ray are doing great...in fact, a month ago she sent me a care package of Tastykakes - she's a sweetheart!
Kristen (kikinicole) is also kicking ass at life....

I joined 2 peas in May 2003 after hearing about it from a friend. I was looking at the gallery and fell in love with HeatherAnn Melzer's layouts. Her daughter was a baby, and just a couple months older than mine. So I became addicted at that point! I was on the Pub all the time, although didn't post a lot. I miss all of those Peas and the scrapbook industry in general in the early/mid 2000s. I loved Kelly's blog! I don't think she posts to in a long time. I really enjoyed her blog and posts!

I wonder how Brooklyn is doing. From what I remember she was still in touch with her child she let be adopted and was friends with the parents, thus making it possible for her to a part of her child's life. I think she went on to marry a country and western musician.
I also wonder about Kerri West from Texas. I loved her house and really enjoyed the updates while it was being built. She was such a sweetheart. I think maybe her son or daughter was getting married but that was back when the old 2 peas was around.
