All of the above and still having my period. Yes, yes, yes, I'm going to be 53 and it is still like clockwork. My baby is 27 years old, we are DONE.

A few weeks ago I suddenly had floaters in my left eye and the next night the flashes started. My dad had this so I know it is usually normal but should definitely be checked out. I went that week to a retinal specialist and he starts off by telling me that it is a normal part of 'aging.' Aging! Really, he had to use that word? Of course, he was about 15 years younger than I am. I think he could have said something like 'our eyes change over time.' Yes, it is the same thing but at 51, I don't like to be reminded that I'm aging. This happened to my MIL a few weeks ago, this exact issue. Her doctor's way of informing her it was aging: "It's simply too many candles on your cake." She told us about it later and we all laughed along with her. "Too many candles on your cake" will forever be my favorite getting old line. haha
