Relatively new here, so sorry if this has been discussed, but....I have an older Xyron sticker maker. W/all the word dies and cut files, I have a hard time gluing thin sentiments down. I've tried 2-sided tape from Ken something and also the scor-tape one w/varying degrees of success. I'd like to use my sticker maker since that's why I bought it, but every time I do, I get a haze on the top of the cut file from the glue. I thought I'd seen a YT video where someone deals w/that before they pull the object off the backing, but now I can't find it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

When I use my xyron I run round ALL the edges of the word /text with a pen before removing the plastic. It takes extra time. But I done like the extra glue trailing all over the place.

I use one of these: XyronAdhesive Eraser
Rub it carefully around the edges of the item before you remove it from the backing, and again after you stick it down to your paper on the areas that still might be sticky.

Thanks oaksong and julieinsweden! That helps! I should have also mentioned that I often cut out of foil paper and that makes it really obvious when there's still adhesive on the paper. I will try both suggestions.

Have you tried a fine tipped glue pen? Stampin up just had one come out, although the glue seems very, very runny to me. I've had decent luck with the sakura quickie glue pen although it sometimes clogs and then I can't get it flowing again. But if you're going to use it regularly then it might not have that problem.

I trace the items with my embossing stylus first. Then I take the top film off. I have the Eraser for stuff that got missed.
