Tonight I'm hungry for chicken pannang curry. I'd serve it extra spicy with steamed rice And then I'd throw all caution to the wind and serve a rich, creamy key lime cheesecake for dessert! scrapmaven, do you want yours extra spicy or would you rather start with dessert?? Tell me Peas, if you could eat whatever you wanted to for dinner tonight, what would you be dining on? And what are you really having? Remember hot dogs count! (I love hot dogs!)

I'm making sweet glazed turkey meatloaf with roasted broccoli lemony green beans and rosemary potatoes.
ETA: My broccoli had gone bad. P.U.

I'd have my chicken on the milder side. I'll bring some fresh baked naan to accompany it. Also, I'll make my cream roll(think big ho-ho only much fresher and homemade)for dessert.
I'm not sure what we're having, yet. I have a late appointment and I'm contemplating garlic chicken stir fry, cause it's quick and makes a great leftover.
ETA: For some reason I missed your cheesecake dessert. It pays to surf w/o a cat on your hands. So, I'll save my cream roll for tmw night.

I'd be having fresh Dungeness crab. Our usual season has been delayed due to warmer than usual waters. Tonight is our late night at tae kwon do and the 6yo hasn't gotten to bed before 9:30 a single time this week. I think we'll make it a Taco Bell night and try to get to bed early for once. Starting next week, he will move up to the next level and every night will be later. gahhhh

We're having a copycat of Disney's baked ravioli, roasted broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and carrots, apple slices, rolls, and peanut butter fingers for dessert.
It's not what I would choose, but everyone else likes it. <shrug>

Now you have me craving my favorite Thai Restaurant... where I would get the "Heavenly Tray #3" which comes with fresh spring rolls, hot & sour shrimp, panang curry with chicken, chicken with ginger, onions & scallions, spicy string beans with fish, rice, & coconut ice cream with banana spring rolls. I am running some errands after work, so I will probably end up grabbing a rotisserie chicken somewhere & steaming some veggies to go with it. But I will be wishing I was having my Heavenly Tray!!!

It's cold and just plain yucky out today. It has been raining non stop and the wind has gusts of 30-40 mph. Our lights have flickered, but that's it. Other homes around the county haven't been so lucky.
With that said.. I put chili in the crock pot. I probably will cook some pasta for the boys and make it chili mac for them.

My dream dinner would involve some sort of seafood and pasta ... lobster, crab, shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels ... love them all I don't do dessert but I do enjoy wine so that would be part of it too ... a nice Sauvignon Blanc Instead, because my family does not enjoy seafood we are having chicken cordon blue with mashed potatoes and some sort of veggie

Years ago, I visited N. California, and the group of people I was with bought two whole salmon fresh off a fishing boat. It was cooked two ways, and it was DELICIOUS! Living in the middle of nowhere, far from any ocean, good seafood is memorable. So that's what I'd have tonight, with au gratin potatoes, salad, maybe steamed broccoli, and a piece of that key lime cheesecake akathy's making! What I will really have is last night's leftover turkey-black bean-brown rice taco concoction.

Hamburger surprise packages. I've had a few too many christmas cookies so I may skip the surprise and have a salad instead.
If I could eat whatever tonight it would be whatever someone else cooked!

Turkey pie. With broccoli slaw. I am not a broccoli fan but will eat it and I don't care for raw vegetables but I do love broccoli slaw.

I think I will make one of our favorites tonight, siracha chicken, fried rich, steamed green beans and carrots and crunchy bread sticks.

We're having bacon and kale quiche and roasted sweet potatoes.
But if I could have anything, it would be a gyro from my favorite Greek restaurant. Alas, it's an hour away and I'm too busy tonight to go.

What I wish I was having - some kind of shrimp (I'm not too picky afterall :-), roasted potatoes and fresh green beans with bacon cooked in the pressure cooker. For desert I would have a chocolate layer cake with chocolate icing. It just seems like that kind of day. What I'm actually having - grilled cheese and homemade veggie soup that I had in the freezer. Not a bad meal at all, but it definitely doesn't compare to me dream meal. Thanks akathy!

We are having pizza and breadsticks with garlic cream cheese dip. We will also be having that tomorrow! If I could have anything, I would have crab cakes followed by filet mignon and a baked potato.

We're having our niece for dinner (college girl needs some home-cooking) so we'll be having pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans and homemade bread, all requested by her (not that we mind).

One of my favorite meals would be baked ham served with twice-baked potatoes, roasted asparagus, a small green salad and strawberry shortcake for dessert. What we're actually having tonight is tacos despite the fact that it's not Tuesday.
