I'm under the weather this evening and was hoping to watch the big bang theory. I've never watched it, and heard it was funny. I can't seem to find it streaming anywhere. Is it available streaming?
Sometimes you can buy a DVD from Amazon.com and then also watch it online once you purchase the DVD. But I didn't see that option for Big Bang theory.
Any ideas? Other than driving my sick butt over to target to buy the DVD?

I think you can watch it on your computer just on what ever station? I know my scrappy friend did that when we were away for the weekend.

I think she means she wants to start at the beginning....
and I don't think that it is available to stream like that. I wanted to start watching it that way, but no such luck. Had to go buy the DVDs.

You can buy the seasons via Amazon Prime (or even just amazon regular) and stream them. My SO and I binge watched all the seasons that way.

So do you mean if I sign up for Amazon prime I can stream it, or I have to sign up for Amazon prime and then pay extra to buy the show?

If you find it anywhere, I suggest you begin with season 1...so that you know the characters and can appreciate some of the jokes that are dependent upon knowing the characters. Have you tried Netflicks? It is available there, according to the site below. or the-big-bang-theory.com/episodeguide/season/1/

It's actually Amazon Instant Video, and I believe that as long as you have an account at Amazon (Prime or otherwise), you can buy it and stream it. I mainly stream from them via my PS3, but we've done it from the laptop before with no issues.

Netflix only has it on discs. From what I have observed. Most CBS shows (complete seasons beginning to end) are not available for streaming through the usual services (netflix, amazon, hulu...) without an extra fee. You can probably buy/rent it through Amazon.

From what I can tell, it's not available in Canada (which is silly, IMO). But I'm on a mobile phone and definitely not an Amazon expert, so I could be wrong.

Yes you have to watch it from the beginning so you can watch the characters develop. Otherwise you might not like a couple of them We have all seasons so far with the last season pre-ordered - I couldn't get into it until I watched it from the beginning and now I love it!
