I think I'm going with TODAY. I like the "just for today..." attitude about making new habits, and I also like remembering that each day is a gift.
I've never done OLW before. Off to explore the class...

Do I have to buy Ali's classes to do OLW? Can anyone give me an idea of how to do it? You certainly don't have to buy her class or any of the products offered. However, I think it is worth every penny if you're serious about exploring your word. Ali is generous with her time. And you can join the FB group for community and support.

I decided on a word. I ended up going with ALLOW rather than LIVE. I need to allow myself to accept the way things are. I need to allow myself to feel the feelings that flood me and to express them as I see fit. I need to allow myself the permission to let go of things that would normally anger me. I think this is going to be important to me in 2016. I also look forward to see how it presents itself outside of myself. Great choice Amanda!

Mine will be COURAGE. There are some things in my life that are difficult, and I expect them to get worse in 2016, so I need that courage badly.

I have never taken the actual "One little word" class. I just simply pick a word or words, as my own personal philosophy and motto for the year. Kind of something to follow or keep in my mind, representative of how my life at the moment is going and the state of mind in which and of which I feel.
My word for 2016, is "wandering along" which is what I feel I have been doing for the past little while and will continue to do so in the upcoming future. No real direction, just seeing where life takes me. So far, so good. I am enjoying my quiet, content, with an occasional adventure, journey of life.
