Store, GS, FSOT are gone but NSBR and Gallery and at least my profile is still there. But may be be gone by the time I hit post on this. Just sad because it was there when I needed it 12 years ago.

Yep, the end of an era. It is sad, in spite of the way things ended. Just sad.
ETA: why are those annoying greens things showing up again??? nothing has changed in my signature...?

Sad to see it go! Kristina and Jeff could have handled things completely differently, but I'm still grateful to them for giving me a "home" on web for the last 10 years!

So sad. I went and looked at my gallery (I was gryroshaggy before, I had a weird stalker and deleted message board posts but left the gallery) and it's soooo sad. My girls are 13 and 16 no, but they were 3 and 6 in the start of the layouts. Some of them are so beautiful, why did I ever stop? I really want to start scrap booking again, I wish I had the time.
The end of an era.

I agree, it's a sad thing to see it go, even if the ending wasn't picture perfect.

Change is inevitable. I'm glad it was there for me when I needed it but I'm happy as a clam here too. With the exception of a very few all my pea friends are here too. Really, it's the people who make a message board a community not the board itself.

I am not as sad to see it go as I was last month at this time. I did not find our new home til 2 days after it got going. During that time, I was wondering where I could find anything remotely like the Bucket. Then my dd gave me the good news about our new home & all was right with my world!
I am so glad we are all here.

I'm so glad I found all of you Peas last fall. I had time to see what it was all about before it went away. Sorry for your loss...

Thanks for the screen shot idea! I just took some!

Sad to see it go! Kristina and Jeff could have handled things completely differently, but I'm still grateful to them for giving me a "home" on web for the last 10 years! This..I was never a big customer of theirs because of lack of product and crazy shipping rates, but I was thankful for the digital "home" they provided, free of charge. Yeah, they could have handled things differently, but sometimes things like this have to happen in a messy way. It's like firing someone at work, you don't tell them on Monday morning and say "Well, you can stay till Friday so you can have time to say your good byes" !

I just went to do a few screen shots. Don't know why exactly, but I felt I should since I spent 9 years there & learning so much.

I figured they just delete it in one shot, like ripping a bandaid off, not just take it away piece by piece. Definitely an end to an era.

If this place wasn't made I would be sad but we have this place now and I like it so much more than the pod set up wise. The only thing I'm a bit sad about is the peas who maybe were on vacation or didn't log in daily and have no clue what happened and where this place is.

I hope the people behind the site are dealing with their loss okay as I'm sure the loss is hard for them. I know it has affected all of us in some way, but on the other hand... these are real people who may have lost their livelihood.

There's only 2 pages worth of threads on the nsbr board, are they deleting thread by thread? Why not just take down the whole site at once?

Whomever/whoever (for the grammar peas) is shutting down the site, regardless of how they are doing it, must be having a hard time. If it's the web host that has no interest in the site other than just shutting it down, I'm sure it's no big deal. But if it's people that were part of 2peas, it's gotta be hard. I know they handled it like crap, but I can't help feel bad for them.
