Lol. Pretty kitties and afghan! My cats don't even wait for me to finish knitting, they pile on my lap while it's still in progress.

Lovely work and nice to see it's appreciated! Love the colouring of your cats.
I have just been thinking about doing that exact same one!! I have finished the Ripple Coast blanket and am trying to decide what to do next, it just might be this one.

The blanket is beautiful. I have a small one in hideous colours LOL that I bought at a thrift store that I love because it is so warm. Your kitties seem to have found their place on yours

Is that a cosy afghan from attic 24? She has THE best colour combos I have made 4 of hers and have her latest on the go!

Newbie here. I would love to try this. Her directions indicate using 100g balls of yarn. I can't find an indication of the length. Can someone explain what I would need to know to go to a craft store and buy the correct yarn? I would love some tips to get me started.

Lucy at Attic24 (her pattern) uses Stylecraft Special DK 100g, label says 295 metres or 322 yards. You can buy pack of yarn for this blanket here www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/attic24/attic24-cosy-stylecraft-special-dkI believe the postage to the States is very low elaine ?

Yes, the postage from Wool Warehouse to the states is low. Better than many USA online yarn shops. And the yarn gets here within 10 days - so about the same as ordering from JoAnn's. I've been so happy with their yarns and service that I've ordered from them several times. With the exchange rate being pretty good right now, the prices are great for the packs.

I'm a little confused about the pricing/exchange rate. There was an option for the price in $$ on the pack, but when I put it in my cart it showed a different $$ price. I'm not familiar with their terminology to know what is what.

What price are you seeing? I pretended I was trying to buy a cosy pack in USD. The sterling price went down from £25 to £20.83 approx $30.94. I think you will be charged in sterling but they are giving you an approximate dollar price and I guess $30 before postage is what you should see on your credit card statement.

I think it ends up being less than $2 per skein/ball, so you won't find anything that nice and pretty here in the US.
