I have contacts, but still wear my glasses occasionally, particularly if I'm not leaving the house. Last week, one of the little nose pads fell off when I knocked my glasses off the nightstand, and I couldn't find it. I need to take them up to Costco (which is literally less than 5 minutes from my house) and get them to put on a new nose pad, but I haven't done it yet. It even kind of hurts a little bit when I wear them now, but somehow, I still can't manage to get up the motivation. *sigh*
What have YOU been too lazy to do lately?

everything... but we've been really busy just trying to enjoy the summer. I should have done the laundry and cleaned the house yesterday instead of spending the whole day by the pool. Oh well, there's always tomorrow, right?!

Too many things.
I could fix it if I'd take care of the ONE thing that is sapping my energy, which is go to the doc for sinus infection meds. I just keep putting it off, and I basically go home after work and lie around.

Finish unpacking from our vacation. We got back Sunday. Five days ago. ugh. I've been known to go WEEKS with stuff still in the suitcase after we get back. I find now that my best option is just to take the suitcase straight to the laundry closet and empty it out there.

Laundry and fixing up my scrap storage room. It's a MESS and the last room I need to tend to since moving. It's a disaster and I have no idea where to even start. Oh! and getting my eyes check. I think they are fine, but I'm getting old in my whole 41 years and need to at least have them checked.

Clean my house-my goal is to clean tomorrow, but since I've found this site and am determined not to be a lurker, that may have to take the back seat!

Go get my bangs cut. It doesn't take long, but I have needed to go get them cut for 2 weeks now. Oh, crap, that's something else i need to do -- get my hair cut! It's down almost to my butt and I am OVER IT. It's too hot to deal. This weekend, it's getting chopped!

Call & reschedule a doctor's appt. Whenever I think about doing it, it is either their lunch time or after hours.

Clean the spare bedroom which has become a catch-all room. Ugh! It is easier to just close the door! LOL!

Weed my flower garden. I pulled all the flowers and plants out last fall, and was going to get out there this year and put Round Up down, and just keep it a mulch bed this year. The weeds are SO out of control, and they're impossible to keep on top of. Every day has been so hot and muggy, I just don't have the energy, and in the meantime I now have a small forest back there!

pretty much everything. This is the first summer that I have felt this way, and maybe it's the extra kids who are living here (and seriously putting a strain on our already tight budget) but the kids are annoying me to no end. It makes me want to stay in my room all day. I did finally go pick up my prints from costco today though...that only took two weeks.

Clean out my closet - not so much because I am being lazy but more because I just don't like to do it.

Cleaning the windows. Summer is short here, so I would rather enjoy the sun when it's here. The windows aren't going anywhere, so I can clean them in the fall......except that cleaning windows when it's raining it's just plain stupid, so maybe I'll do it next year? (Or my mom will end up volunteering).

Clean out closets, specifically my daughters. And my hallway closet. Things are going to start falling out soon.

Clean the basement! I have a tendency to chuck laundry down the stairs and there is a huge pile at the bottom of the steps. Seriously, I could sled down the stairs and land in a fluffy stinky mound of dirty sheets right now.

Wash and clean out my car. We've spent a lot of time in it so far this summer, and it's a mess.

I have new curtains up on only one side of my big bedroom windows. I hate ironing them, so I haven't gotten around to doing the other side.

I did the exact same thing a few months ago and I went WEEKS walking around like that! I had the nose pad, but lost the screw when the nose pad suddenly fell off & slid down my face. I thought it was a bug, freaked out and flung my glasses across the room trying to flick the 'bug' away. Found the nose pad, but forget that tiny screw. Know what got me to get it fixed? Knowing I was going to a mini reunion of my sorority sisters. I knew I would be up close to people other than my immediate family for an extended period of time and they would notice. How sad is that?! Now, as for what I'm to lazy to do? Laundry would have to be at the top of that list. Thank goodness it's summer so if my youngest wears the same shorts 2 days in a row, no one will know. I think he has enough underwear, but I'm too afraid to look in the drawer to find out it's empty. We can add schedule my mammogram, get the cable guy out here & officially swap out my winter clothes for summer to that list.

I need to clean out the basement but the x-mas decorations down there need to go to the garage. I can't move them til I put up new shelves. The shelves can't go in til I clean out the crap DH brought from his dad's house. DH has to take most of that to our cottage which is being added on to. Cottage won't be done til DH has shoulder surgery for the injury he got moving boxes in the basement. So the only possible thing for me to do right now is exactly what I am doing...Not a damn thing!

I'm in the process of cleaning all of my Dept 56 Dicken's Village houses ... they have been on top of my kitchen cupboards in a really cute display for a couple of years but it is time for them to come down ... you don't realize the kind of grease a kitchen creates until you have to clean it off of something ... ugh! I've definitely been procrastinating ... but I only have two more to go! Leanne
