Watched it tonight online because I couldn't wait until Wednesday (ITV2, UK Peas). Loved it! Amazed by the logistics of it all.

I really love Zach Woodlee anyway. I enjoyed watching all his Glee choreography.

I think they were lip synching the songs. The lips and voice were off in Sandra Dee

I love the movie, but was just "meh" about this, for the most part.
Liked JH as Sandy. But I like her in everything I've seen her do (including the remake of Footloose.
Did NOT like the guy who play Danny. Just wasn't appealing in any way.
The auto shop teacher looked familiar, but I couldn't place her until I was told.

We really enjoyed it.
The guy who played Danny grew on me as it progressed.

I've watched it twice now! So impressed with the production values. I liked Aaron and Julianne separate but didn't think they had chemistry together. Thought Vanessa was great in one of the hardest roles. Though Kenickie was really miscast. Overall I thought it was really fun and I am glad they are bringing this kind of thing to television.

I caught it on onDemand last night. I loved it! When Aaron first came out I didn't care for him either, seemed too old for the role but he grew on me right away. I loved almost all the casting, I thought Mario Lopez was a hoot, Julianne was a doll, and Vanessa was wonderful!
I really liked the inclusion of Boys to Men too. I didn't care for the girl who played Marty at all, she definitely seemed too old, and lacked the coy sexiness that Dina Manoff had. I think that's my only critique though. Very well done!

Seriously? What are you guys, like, 13? Okay, okay, I admit I quit watching about 30 min in.. some of that was good, but most of the cast is twice the age of the teenagers they portray! Danny Zuko looks like he's in his 30s, for heaven's sake! When they sang BSD to Frenchy, it was like they were singing it to a housewife. "I'm not a teenager. I just play one on TV." I'm keeping it though 'cause I thing dgd would love it, she's 8. I'll just watch it with her next time she spends the weekend. I will watch it. I will suspend reality and just.. watch it.

I finally got around to watching it last night and I loved it for its awesome cheesiness. I grew up with Grease and adore both the movie and the stage production. This was a fun combination of the movie and stage version.
My favorite part was at the end during the bows when Didi Conn (original Frenchie) and Barry Pearl (original Doody from the movie) came out wearing their original jackets from the movie.

DH and I (and our girls) loved it!! Something like this, for me, is pure entertainment. I didn't dive too deep into comparing it to the original. I was just really impressed with the production and how they were able to pull it off (especially considering the rain, I'm sure that threw some wrenches into the plan!) I think my favorite part was Doody singing "Those Magic Changes". Didn't love Carly Rae in Beauty School Dropout (what was up with her weird facial expressions?), but I did like B2M. I'm excited for the DVD/download and I'm hoping they include a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff

I think ONJ was pushing 30 and worried John Travolta would make her look old!

Well I think the "call me maybe" actress and possibly Zuko are in their mid-30s ... like with Glee, I guess. Adults portraying teenagers because apparently seasoned actors were needed.

I read that Stockard Channing was in her 30s for the movie.
