I can't find them! Is there a certain brand that makes them? Thanks!

I saw them all over at Christmas time. They were Rold Gold Pretzel Rings and were in a purple bag. Not sure if they were seasonal?

This place constantly cracks me up. I love the questions and then the answers that roll in. In a good way, of course.

Are you talking about pretzel rings, or the little mini pretzels that have the traditional twist? Rold Gold does make a pretzel ring. Glutino also makes gluten free pretzel rings. Those are quite good.

Are you making rolo/hugs candies with them?
You might be able to find the waffle shapes (I think Snyders of Hanover makes them-- brown bag). I know a lot of people use them in a pinch when the rounds can't be found.

If you can't find the rings and you're making the pretzel/m&ms treats for Valentine's Day, you can use the regular mini style pretzel. With the candy in the middle, they look like hearts.

I saw some rings at Target the other day, they were the Rold Gold brand, but the bag was I think snowflake print, so probably seasonal. I still have part of a bag left from my Christmas pretzel/rolo dealies that isn't stale yet, and I plan to make some more over the weekend.

Any chance you are in the Midwest? I bought some at Meijer last week, their store brand. I "settled" for rings because they were out of the waffle pretzels I usually buy.

I just found an unopened bag I had bought before Christmas. Any chance you live in MN?

Where do you live? In the Midwest, Meijer carries pretzel rings all year, their own brand (so they are very inexpensive). I adore the rings for the Rolo things, but also just to eat plain (they are super crispy). People are always amazed when I bring the Rolo things to a gathering, because the Rolo fits PERFECTLY in the pretzel ring, and when you press it down after it's been in the oven, it just forms the most perfect little candy. Once you've made them with pretzel rings, no other pretzel shape will do!

Please share this recipe. It sounds yummy. Rolo Pretzel Rings (click on link) Note: I can never find the rings in my area so I use the mini waffle shaped ones. Also, I top mine with a pecan half instead of a M & M

Try the Sturgis Pretzel Bakery in Lititz, PA (717) 626-4354 They do their baking onsite and have tons of varieties.

Put a bunch of pretzel rings on a baking sheet (I like to use a sheet of parchment paper on mine). Place one unwrapped Rolo candy in each ring. (I put them in upside down). Place pan in a 300 degree preheated oven for about 3 or 4 minutes, just until the chocolate starts to look shiny and soft. Take the pan out of the oven and quickly place a toasted pecan half on top of each Rolo, lightly pressing down so that the Rolo squishes down into the pretzel. Let cool.

I also like to use the square grid like pretzels as I like the proportion of the pretzel to rolo/kiss/chocolate melt better with the extra pretzel crunch

We buy a big barrel of UTZ pretzel rings in Costco. They are about $6 and worth every penny. My kids love them.

I know they're the wrong shape for Edie3's recipe, but y'all must try Pretzel Crisps! They've got such a great crisp to salt ratio, but their crispiness isn't super hard like some regular pretzels are. Sometimes for a snack, I will melt a few tablespoons of white chocolate (Ghirardelli is my favourite) and a 1/4 teaspoon of coconut oil in a small ramekin in the microwave and dip pretzels in it. I love white chocolate covered pretzels, and they're much tastier warm. I recently saw the Pretzel crisps and decided to try them. YUM! I also like that they come in a reclosable bag--dh doesn't like pretzels, so a bag will last me a very long time.
