Enough said about the *itchy people who did not make it over to this new board. If you could invite one famous person over, who would you want it to be? And what would you want then to talk about?
I'll start. I would invite Jay Lo. I would want her to talk about her personal life, relationships. I would ask her if she ever really thinks if she is going to be in a marriage that lasts at least 10 years.

I think I'd rather have someone smart and interesting, like Neil deGrasse Tyson. I'd ask him to explain things I don't really understand and I don't think I'd insult him.

Mmmmm, interesting question. The first person who popped into my mind was Jennifer Lawrence because she seems so funny, and I reckon she'd have her fair measure of snark too. I think she'd fit right in here.

Anderson Cooper. Would love to hear his real thoughts on all the news he reports. Plus to hear some of his Ridiculist comments! Can you imagine a political thread with him participating. I love Anderson!!!

Marilyn Monroe! I would want her to tell us the truth about how she really died/was killed.

Ellen would certainly be fun
Kimberly Williams-Paisley seems so "girl next door" that I think she'd make a great friend
I wouldn't mind some Martha tips every now and again

Duchess Kate. She needs an opportunity to be an anonymous mom, and we need to hear about George!

I offer Hillary Clinton - killing a whole flock of birds with one stone.
-She has US political experience (election threads), and -international diplomatic experience (Israel-Palestine thread, for a start), -has been a First Lady in a very public marriage ("Please validate me...") -is a lawyer (neighbors' fence encroachment and, well, SCOTUS), -knows a fair bit about health insurance reform (!!!), -has been a mother-of-the-bride ("Is this tacky?"), -has thrown her fair share of (well, state) dinners ("Should I bring a hostess gift?"), -and is alternately admired and reviled here. (Hair flip potential)
Downside: she's pretty busy, so probably has little time to binge-watch Netflix, and may not be available to post on Thrusdays.

Leona Helmsley. Now she would have been an interesting contributor.
