I have been extremely stressed lately so I decided to treat myself. I'm checking into a nice hotel on Friday after work, yep I plan to leave work a little early. The hotel has a spa so I booked a massage for Saturday and another for Sunday, facial, mani/pedi, body scrub and wrap. I'm going to lay out by the pool and sit in the sauna, take long bubble baths. I have a couple of books to read. I shouldn't spend that much money but I think I really need it.
So what have you splurge on lately that is just for you?

That's an awesome splurge! Money is tight right now with back to school and just getting back from vacation, so I haven't splurged lately. I've just been online, dream splurging on some purses I have my eye on. Maybe one day!

An ultra wide angle lens for my camera. I could try to argue that the whole family will benefit from it… but DH would argue that.

That sounds so wonderful. Enjoy yourself. I definitely need something right about now. Maybe in the next few weeks I'll splurge on myself

I splurged on a leather Fossil purse. I did get a killer deal but it was still a splurge, far more than I would normally spend on a purse. I can honestly say that I deserve it.

I splurged on a new MZ Wallace bag. The Belle, in the color Steel. I love it. My birthday is in 2 weeks, so I think it is okay. LOL!!

I guess it's not just for me but I'm the only one who cares about it We can't get Fiestaware in Canada so during our summer vacation I buy more pieces to go with our dinnerware ... this year I got a spoon rest and four Gusto bowls ... makes me happy

That sounds like an awesome weekend! No major splurges yet, but depending on how our team does at work in the next month, I may get to pick an award worth $1500. It's kind of neat because you have to pick a "thing" (someone could get a Visa gift card if they were really hard up for money or even get it paid out, but it really is being positioned as a splurge item), so they made a catalog of stuff for you to pick from or you can name your own gift. Two items I have my eye on are a Microsoft Surface Pro (need to research more) or a TWO YEAR membership to Massage Envy. How sweet would that be? The gift that keeps on giving. So... hopefully a splurge will be coming. I really like the way they are doing it. Yeah, I could take the money and splurge with it, but when you receive it in your check it is just a lot harder to do that.

Mmmm . . . Sounds heavenly! Enjoy yourself!
Last month I splurged on an iPad Air. I don't purchase big ticket items very often so it was nice. I'm definitely getting my money's worth and DH is enjoying my old iPad 2.

Sounds like a great treat. I haven't done anything g other than buy scrap stuff. Maybe that's why I'm cranky. I need a purse.

A new piece of luggage and a couple travel accessories. We are going on vacation this week (I'm super excited, just in case you guys can't tell), so I bought a good quality convertible carry on, and a couple travel accessories. I'm also looking at the long term, because after I graduate, I would like to get a job in the travel industry and be able to travel frequently.

Oooo! That sounds like a great splurge! Enjoy your time and don't think about the outside world for a little while.
The splurged on a cheap pair of running shoes. I've been wanting to start running for so long and I figured with all the other changes going on in my life, this was the perfect time. My budget for "extra's" is non existent so I shouldn't have bought them, but I needed to buy them. So far so good. I'm on my second week of running, running a little bit longer and further each time. I'm still in the run a little bit/walk a little bit stage, but I'm making progress! I feel great, so I'd say it was a good splurge.

Nothing on just myself but we just splurged and did a bunch of fun things with the kids over the 10 days dh was on vacation. We went to the local fair twice (once for rides and the second time for fireworks only), went to a Bruno Mars concert, went to an amusement park, took a beach/ocean trip for a day then did an overnight stay at Great Wolf Lodge. I'm STILL recovering but we had a blast. I'm hoping to splurge on a new rescue/puppy. I've put in an application and hoping we get approved for the pup I saw online.

Your weekend splurge sounds amazing! Enjoy it! I bought some really cute Lia Sophia jewelry from our on-line yardsale FB page yesterday. I got 2 long necklaces, a bracelet, & a ring. Super awesome deal, for a total of $16!!!! Made me very happy! ETA: I just went on their website & the necklaces are $88 each. She gave them to me 2 for $10! Couldn't find the ring & bracelet on there.

I just today splurged on a GPro Hero3+ video camera along with a bunch of accessories. I can't wait for it to get here so I can play before we go on vacation. DH wanted to know if we were even now (he got a new car a few weeks ago). I told him not even close to being even. We're going to be in North Carolina for part of our trip so I'm going to hit a furniture store. If I like the rattan furniture as much in person as I do online I'm going to order it for our sunroom. I might call it even then......maybe.

I just bought myself a new leather Fossil purse today. I needed a new one and I like that I can wear this over my shoulder or as a cross body bag. I'm happy with it.

That splurge sounds heavenly! I bet you'll never regret it.
My latest splurge was buying two necklaces at the local festival. I bought one necklace from this woman last year and love it, and this year I saw two of hers that I love--and I bought both of them. I'm so glad I did.

Your splurge sounds awesome! I hope you enjoy it to its fullest.
I do little splurges. A few dollars spent on scrapping stuff. A bag of paperbacks for a dollar at the thrift store.

If I got a check, I'd put it in savings or pay student loans or something stupid like that.

I splurged on some Magnum Ice Cream Bars, caramel sea salt, vanilla bean and ate only one and realized that they did not agree with my tummy... bummer.

I got an epiphanie camera bag a month or so ago, it was half price, but still a splurge! I love it though.

To much! I took my daughters shopping three times this summer and bought myself something every time. That's unusual for me. Normally when I have the extra to spend I can't find anything for myself.
2 handbags (mint and navy) 3 shirts 2 dresses 1 cardigan 1 pair of Nike comfort flip flops 1 pair of Asics scrapbooking supplies (5 orders worth!)

DH actually *splurged* for me. We've never had a house cleaner and last month he hired one to come in once a month to do the deep cleaning. They've been here twice and it is so easy for me to keep it up now. And before they started we did a lot of de-cluttering so now our house looks great if someone stops by.

I bought myself a 75 year old violin that I found on Craigslist. It still has the shipping label on the case. The man I bought it from's mother had it shipped from Germany in 1939.

I'd say the sassy black high heels with big flat bows across the toes that I bought a few days ago while on a trip... but they were such a darn good deal, they don't even qualify as a splurge!

Definitely no splurging here - but, checking yourself into a hotel and doing things just for you sounds idyllic

I bought myself a pink sapphire ring that I called my "I love me" ring several weeks ago when my husband was an ass. I deserve it.

I'm so envious of your splurge. It sounds amazing. My latest was a Michael Kors bag on eBay. It was half off cause it was a store sample. It's stunning, looks brand new!
