Last week I took a spontaneous 3-night trip to Maui. It was way cheaper than a "full" vacation as I didn't have to pay for the condo or rental car (I met my friends there - they were on a 10-night trip for their anniversary). It was still more than I planned to spend this summer but it was awesome! Four days of going to the beach, a lot of reading, some naps, great meals, beautiful sunsets, etc

I love all these!!! I "treated" myself to a cut and color Groupon. It needs to get done and I'm trying to find a place I love that's not a rip off!!

Running gear. The latest was a running skirt for the 5K I did this weekend. It has huge pockets. I love it!

Enjoy your weekend! It sounds wonderful. My spurge is that I stopped at The Container store and bought about $100.00 worth of organizing stuff. Boring but fun!

Your splurge sounds wonderful! my splurge was a new The Bridge leather bag. I love their purses and bags, and this time, I just couldn't resist. And I deserve it!

That sounds fabulous!
I have a hard time telling the difference between a splurge and just doing nice things for myself. I try to get a mani/pedi every 2-3 weeks, even though I could do it myself, so to me that is a splurge. I'm pretty thrifty by nature, so it's hard for me to part with money on myself when I don't have to.

Mascara! Estee Lauder had a deal here if you bought 2 things you get a free mascara. Well I use that mascara, I needed a new one as my old one was dry so I bought two and got one three. Excessive? I bought one for each purse then I would have it with me for touch ups.
I also got a couple (3) black cardigans. Each one is a little different and they are all cute. They were't expensive and they are perfect when I want to go out for dinner in a spaghetti string dress and don't want my shoulders exposed. Perfect!

I just bought new appliances for our kitchen. We are at the beginning of a remodel project. I am excited to have a new kitchen but it is torture having them sitting in boxes while I am waiting for my cabinets!

Your splurge sounds wonderful. Mine is pretty lame in comparison but I am unreasonably excited by it all the same. I just bought an Erin Condren planner and in fact will be getting it today. I don't ever spend that kind of money on a planner and I'm very excited to see it and determine if it was worth the splurge.

I need to splurge on new clothes. I have had some stress here lately and not feeling any of the clothes I have look good anymore. I was going to go this last weekend, but then had one heck of a headache, so maybe this weekend coming up. Fingers crossed. I hope you enjoy your spa weekend! It sounds lovely.

sounds heavenly!! The summer is our time to splurge as we live overseas at the moment and when we come home we buy clothes and things we miss while away. I have not bought much for myself just been focusing on the kids but I did replenish my MAC supply and bought a few extra fun colors I normally would not get Spa day is sounding great though, may have to put it on the schedule! enjoy

I bought 2 pair of Puma sneakers...I couldn't decide between the all black or the black with purple trim. Bought them both at the outlet store, so got a good deal too!

Great splurges I'm hopefully flying back to the UK in September to visit my parents, and will definitely be hitting the shops whilst I'm there. In fact 2 weeks away from DH and 2 teenagers is a splurge in itself

There are some great splurges on here! I'd love a little getaway-although we just returned from vacation and that's not going to happen.
I have a painter at the house, now, painting all my deck railings and other exterior areas-I don't have to pay for it since the company I work for does painting/wallcovering, and my boss is being nice. So, while I'm not out any money, it feels like a splurge!

DH actually *splurged* for me. We've never had a house cleaner and last month he hired one to come in once a month to do the deep cleaning. They've been here twice and it is so easy for me to keep it up now. And before they started we did a lot of de-cluttering so now our house looks great if someone stops by. I haven't had someone do this for me in a long time, but the de-cluttering I did before the person came to clean was as beneficial as the actual cleaning that they did.

I just last week splurged on a couple new appliances, I got a new refrigerator (fridgedaire gallery) and a new dishwasher.. the fridge was a total splurge, the one we had worked just fine(still does, its on back porch for time being, probably sell it) but I hated it. I bought it used in a moment of scrambling when the prior one died and i have hated it the whole time because it was a regular freezer on top version and is short,I have to duck to look into it.. 1st world problem ya know. and the dishwasher will simply make life easier once classes start, the one we had was dead and I hated looking at it sitting there in its deadness lol..I just got a cheap one, not sure even what brand it is.
id been saving my income tax money since Feb just for this, procrastinated a lot on even going to look and well time got by me. but we lucked up and when we went Lowes was having a sale AND a special thing for that weekend where all major appliances were 10% off, all in all saved over $400 for the fridge..so not bad..
I figure too its for everyone as we all love it.. caught dd(22) just standing and looking at it LOL we really are easily amused, but it IS so pretty

My splurge, my vacation. Two weeks off work. Three days in London, three days in Barcelona, one week on the Disney Magic and two days in Paris. I'll be eating peanut butter for a while but oh so worth it.

No major splurging for me for a while as my cat's illness has been costing a lot in vet bills, but I did find a couple odd little things in the thrift store that fit perfectly in my "cabinet of oddities" where I display interesting things I find on walks, while exploring, at thrift shops, artsy things I made, etc etc.
