Many, many times I have dreamed of having the splurge you are going to have! Maybe someday... I still enjoy buying scrapbooking stuff, so I've had a few deliveries from ebay recently. I am expecting a few cricut cartridges soon.

I splurged yesterday at Micheals. I got a skull lantern, I HAD to get it while they had it in stock. There were only two. I still have it hiding in the car, I gotta sneak it in while hubby isn't looking Cynthia

I splurged on a leather Fossil purse. I did get a killer deal but it was still a splurge, far more than I would normally spend on a purse. I can honestly say that I deserve it. Which one did you get? I love Fossil purses.

I have been extremely stressed lately so I decided to treat myself. I'm checking into a nice hotel on Friday after work, yep I plan to leave work a little early. The hotel has a spa so I booked a massage for Saturday and another for Sunday, facial, mani/pedi, body scrub and wrap. I'm going to lay out by the pool and sit in the sauna, take long bubble baths. I have a couple of books to read. I shouldn't spend that much money but I think I really need it. So what have you splurge on lately that is just for you? Jealous!!!! Enjoy your splurge.

My birthday was in July and family members gave me $$ as gifts, knowing that we were going to Germany later in the month. While I was there I found a necklace, 2 pairs of earrings, a scarf and a fossil paperweight that I used my birthday money on. It was fun to buy earrings that cost more than I would usually spend.

That sounds delightful, and you will certainly enjoy it! I think it's important to splurge - on little or big things - once in a while. My "problem" (can you see my air quotes there?) is that I hate spending money on myself. I have no problem telling DH to get himself something (not that he asks ), but he usually has to CONVINCE me to splurge on myself, or he just goes and buys the stuff for me. Last week, he convinced me to spend more than I'd planned on on a new bike. I really want to learn to ride (I mean, I *know* how to ride a bike; I want to do longer rides, etc.) and his feeling is that a better bike will make that easier. So he found a bike, I went and tried it, and we wound up getting it. This weekend, I'm going to look for clipless pedals and shoes (and hope that I don't either kill myself or make a complete fool of myself using them). I also got new running shoes. Combined, that's more than I've spent on myself in ages, probably since I bought my Canon 7D. I think I'm done for a while...

I'm afraid that I won't be splurging for awhile. The beginning of summer, we bought some new furniture, some rugs and some home decor items. I think that I am done for awhile. I do still window shop though.

I've had a lot of tension and soreness in my neck and shoulders this week, so I have an appointment for a massage tomorrow. It will be a first for me---I've just never gotten around to getting one before.

Clothes and shoes. And jewelry. I went on a girls trip for a week and I made sure I had tons of cute options because dressing up in bright colors is half the fun of the trips we take. So I bought several sundresses and lots of cute long shirts/short dresses that I wear with black yoga pants (I'm 5'10" and have long legs) and cute zipper back sandals and lots of fun jewelry. Also, several swimsuits and cute cover-ups. I like to have at least 2 options to wear per day.
Luckily, we have a Macys outlet nearby. Actually I'm depressed because I recently discovered it, but now they are closing. I went there 3 times in one week before the trip and bought piles and piles of clothes, lots of fun, bright colors. I spent just under $500 and most everything was 7 or 8 bucks, so.......yeah, lots of new stuff. I have 2 teen daughters who often raid my closet though.

I just sold a painting very recently and went down and bought new brushes at an art store that was new me. We just moved to a new state, and there were not any specific art stores where we were previously. So I was in my element, loved it

Going to meet a former neighbor and dear friend this weekend. Our teen sons are good friends, too. We're meeting halfway (a six hour drive for both of us) and renting a house for a long weekend, just the boys and moms. Feels like a splurge b/c DH and DD are not coming along on the adventure.

Our TV in the basement broke; it was really old. We decide to move our living room TV to the basement (a 55" Samsung) and upgrade to a 75" !!! IT'S AWESOME !! Definitely a splurge for us but something we use every day.

I love Fossil purses. I bought the Fossil Abbott cross body and I also got (shhhh) the Sutton Crossbody but I am not sure if I will keep that one. I "only" paid $47 for it but it seems like an extravagance to buy two. My teen daughter got the keyper turtle print mini cross body and was so excited. She loves Fossil purses. My daughter thinks I should keep both of mine but probably because she is looking for a hand me down:)

A new hot water heater! Isn't that crazy exciting?!?! We returned home Saturday night to it leaking. Honestly, the new one looks pretty great and I think I have looked at it more times than my dh. The original one was builder grade, 9 years old and this one was installed by our plumber who is amazing and a much higher quality one. I really want my splurge to be a new kitchen table but we haven't taken the plunge yet. There are 2 sizes and we want the larger one but I think the smaller one will fit better. Sigh.

Sharlag, I'd be honored for you to see them! I don't currently have an online gallery as I just recently started again in art after a very long hiatus (had been working behind the scenes in the scrapping industry instead, and training in my actual career field lol!) It takes a while to build up enough artwork in order to display. I do have the one I sold posted on Instagram though (willowandwattle). Keep in mind that the pic was only taken with my cell phone lol! And it wasn't varnished, which makes a huge difference. It's the 'old tree' pic. If you can't see it on Instagram I can post a pic of it here. And thanks so much for your interest!

OP - that sounds just fabulous.
I love hearing all your splurges. None for me right now, poor DH has had a couple major dental issues we are paying for! I am NOT complaining, I am grateful we can pay for it.

I got these Orthaheel ShoesI fell in love with them a few months ago but thought $80 was too much to spend. I checked them last week and found they were marked down to $60 so I went for it. They are sooo cute in person!

I like reading these threads - I think it's because I can imagine just how happy people are to have something a little out of the 'norm' and it really is a nice lift from time to time (even if you have to suffer a bit of guilt before really settling into loving it - I am terrible for that on more expensive splurges!).
