I'm pretty brand loyal in both groceries and clothing. We both have sensitive skin, and that causes a lot of caution in soaps of all kinds.

This is not a product, but I am loyal to my insurance company- Allstate. I moved out very young and needed my own car insurance. The first place I called a guy talked to me like I was stupid and told me I needed to go through my parents insurance. The second place I called, the sweetest, soft spoken, kind, older man helped me through the whole process. I have stayed with them and even when I got married, I insisted we stay with them for our cars and home. His son now runs the local office.

I tend to pretty brand loyal, but sometimes those brands are store brands. For example, there are a lot of house brand items at Whole Foods that I buy over brand name versions.
It really varies from item to item. Some things I'm not picky about and will buy whatever's on sale, but I'd say there are more things that I am particular about than I'm not.

Some things I am, some I am not. Sometimes it depends on my budget how "loyal" I am.
Ketchup has to be Heinz. Hot dogs have to be Koegel's (local brand) Salad Dressing (as in sandwich spread) has to be Miracle Whip (dh likes Miracle Whip, I prefer mayo) Mayonnaise has to be Kraft Baked Beans have to be Bush's.
Those are the big things that are non negotiable. Other than that I have brands I prefer but am not strict about it depending on sales, budget, if the store is out of something etc.
TP has to be Charmin Basic as we have old plumbing and the thicker ones clog the toilet and the thinner ones are scratchy. However the stores are often out of it so I have to buy the thicker kinds and we have to be very careful about how much we use etc so as to not mess up the toilet.
Some things like paper plates, plastic baggies, etc I prefer the store brand often. I don't care about toothpaste, usually buy Crest or Colgate but am not at all loyal. There are other toiletry brands we prefer but again are flexible at times.
If I'm buying plain potato chips I try to buy Better Made as we love them and they are made in MI.
I rarely drink pop anymore but it absolutely has to be Diet Coke. Not Pepsi, store brand etc. ONLY Coke.
Can't think of anything else right now.
ETA-for OTC meds I usually buy store brand. However I've found I like the store brands at Target or Walgreens the best. I've tried Rite Aid and nope. And once when money was really tight my dh picked up some Dollar General "compare to Zantac" acid reflux meds. Um...nope, might as well have been candy.

I'm generally someone who will buy what's on sale and I often buy the store brand. There are a few brands I'm pretty loyal to, though---Quilted Northern, Heinz, Viva, Coca Cola...

I think of myself as not being too brand loyal but after reading this thread, I am thinking that I am..... I tend to stick with the same products for the most part for all health and beauty stuff. Then as I was reading some of the other posts, realize I am that way for cleaning products and some food items too. I coupon like crazy but still (for the most part) stick with my preferred choices. I will buy anything that is on clearance or a great deal -- even if I use it for donation though.

I don't think I am brand loyal as much as specific-product loyal. For instance, I buy Heinz low sugar ketchup not because it's Heinz, but because it's the only low-sugar ketchup I can get. I don't buy other Heinz products simply because they're Heinz. If another manufacturer made a low-sugar ketchup for equal or less, I'd certainly try it. Likewise with Friskies (Purina) cat food. It's not because it's Purina, it's because it's the only kind my cat will eat.

Dawn is the only thing that I am truly brand loyal to.
DH sticks with the same razors, shave cream, lotion and deodorant not because he's loyal to the specific brand but because he's got crazy sensitive skin and changing things is bad. We stick with something until they stop making it...and then he'll find something else that works..and not necessarily the same brand.

I am brand loyal on certain items.
Dog food. My dogs are on expensive food but they have issues that need special food. Except Pearl she could really eat anything but we have her on the same food as Skip. He is the sensitive tummy one. and Gadget is the skin and choking issue one.
Tooth paste. Crest original or nothing. I can't use other brands. They burn my mouth. something about them I can't use.
Ketsup. Has to be Heinz.
Pinto beans balck beans and refried beans are brands loyal. We only will use a couple brands for them.
Shampoo and conditioner has to be Clear brand
Laundry soap is ALL it is the one without dyes and all other allergens.
I know there are other brands that we buy. But there are also things we buy generic as well.

Much to my husband's dismay, I'm very brand loyal about quite a few things.
I will buy Costco's toilet paper & napkins, but not their milk. I have a tough time w/that weird top. It's me.
I buy a lot of Aldi's stuff (cereal, bread, eggs, milk, taco shells, tortillas, butter, cheese, ground beef), but certain things we have found we don't like.
Things I will only buy name brand? Laundry detergent (Tide), peanut butter (Skippy), syrup (Log Cabin - but we do have real Vermont maple in the house, lol), sour cream (Axelrod's), soda (Pepsi), paper towels (Bounty), toothpaste (we alternate w/Total, ProEnamel & Close-Up), my toiletries (the men will use anything), waffles (kids only like Eggos), chicken (Perdue, Tyson if I have to). There's more, but I've rambled on long enough.

I am very brand loyal. Once I find a product I like, I stick with it. I will try new stuff based on recommendations, but I don't buy an item just because it is on sale. I would fail at the coupon game.

I buy a lot of generics and don't mind store brands but there are a few things like mayonnaise that have to be a name brand. Knives must be from Wusthof.
I really want to get back into using coupons again. Admittedly in the past I have bought products I wouldn't normally buy because I had a coupon.

Mayo (Hellaman's or Dukes), mustard (French's), Dog food (Blue Diamond) are pretty much the only things I'm loyal to. I'll use most any shampoo that's on sale, if I don't have a coupon I prefer Dove. Everything else, it just depends on price

It depends. I only buy Crest toothpaste, dial bath soap, Hunt's ketchup, Hellman's mayo, diet Coke or Pepsi, Scott's toilet paper, Eckrich hot dogs, Lay's or Ruffles chips, Kraft Deluxe or Velveeta mac and cheese.

I have even given up Heinz because I find the Aldi ketchup to be close enough--never thought I'd say that about ketchup!
The only thing I won't do aldi brand on is dressing, must be Newman's Own. And cat litter and cat food. Everything else is close enough for me.
Hairspray must be Elnette, otherwise I'm open to trying new things with cosmetics and toiletries.

I am pretty brand loyal. It's one of the reason couponing didn't really work for me. Angel Soft toilet paper Crest toothpaste Dove deodorant (for me) Mennen deodorant (for DH) Gain laundry detergent Progresso soup Swanson broth Indian River Select orange juice (the BEST bottled OJ!) Glad garbage bags Scrubbing Bubbles cleanser Clorox wipes Hellman's mayo/Miracle Whip (I like one, DH prefers the other) Fage yogurt Cheerios (never store brand) Daisy sour cream Philadelphia cream cheese ...to name but a few...

I am brand loyal to the products where a brand makes a difference to me in terms of taste or effectiveness.
For example, I have leaned that any toothpaste other than Sensodyne does not work. So only Sensodyne.
I can also taste the difference between Hellman's Mayo and anything else, Heinz Ketchup and anything else, Kellogg's Corn Flakes and anything else. \
My dh, however, will eat anything as long as it is cheaper.

I think I've said this before but I am not 100% brand loyal.
There are a few things I always get the same thing - tampons, OJ, yogurt, etc. I've tried cheaper brands and store brands of different stuff. I think I've figured out what's just as good and what's not.
Toilet paper - Scott's (try their naturals, much thicker and just as good as Cottonelle) Toothpaste - crest. I've tried others. There's only one that gets agreed on by everyone. OJ - Minute Maid. I've tried Simply OJ, store brand, tropicana. MM is the only one that everyone likes. Yogurt - yoplait is the only one we like. Store brand tasted off. DH doesn't like Dannon. There are other stuff that I've tried the store brand and it was decided it's worth the extra 10 or 20 cents to get the name brand.
Cheese - I get whatever's on sale. However, I only get Kraft's shredded parmesan. Everything else, not enough to notice a difference. ketchup - not brand loyal. Ex swears only heinz. I don't use it enough to notice a big difference.

Brand loyal but for different reasons.
1. I get migraines from food dyes so I have to be really careful to avoid them. You would not believe how many items have food dyes in them-they are in everything, not just food. They are in OTC medicines, toothpaste, and all kinds of things. I shop at Whole Foods because everything in the store doesn't have food dyes or artificial flavors. Also for 2 years I've been following a whole foods, plant based diet. I can find everything I need at Whole Foods, and since we don't buy meat or diary anymore our grocery bills have gone down so much I can afford to shop there. I do almost all of my food shopping here.
2. I buy a lot of Whole Foods 365 brand, because it tastes great and they cost much lower then the comparable brands at Whole Foods.
3. We buy Colgate toothpaste vs. Crest because of the food dye issue, we also buy Scott bathroom tissue (this is because of price), Bounty paper towels (preference).
4. Laundry detergent I buy from Amazon-it's called "Charlie's Soap" laundry powder. It works better than anything I've tried and it doesn't have a perfume scent. Strong scents also trigger my migraines so I have to be careful with that too. Same reason I use Secret unscented antiperspirant.
So yeah, I guess I'm close to 100% brand loyal.
Debbie in MD.

There are quite a few things that I always buy certain brands of. Some of them are because they're the only brand my husband and kids will eat, like Heinz ketchup, Hellmans (Best Foods) Mayo and French's mustard. I hate all 3 of those things and never eat them. I must have Jif peanut butter. And real maple syrup, that's non negotiable! I don't always buy a specific brand, but I always buy Vermont or New Hampshire made. Not always easy, or in-expensive to find in CO. Sadly, several of my preferred brands of other items are east coast and I can't get them here. I also always get Dawn dish soap, Nesquick choc milk mix, Luzianne teabags, La Favorita tortillas, Orrowheat potato bread (for husband & kids...I almost never eat bread, I don't really like it), Hebrew National all beef hot dogs, Marie Callender frozen pot pies, Kraft 3 cheese mac & cheese and Quaker instant oat meal. I'm sure I could come up with more if I were walking around the grocery store right now! For quite a few things that I always get the same brand of, I use Amazon subscribe & save. Viva select-a-size paper towels, Hefty black kitchen trash bags, Cascade Actionpacs dishwasher tabs, Caribou blend k-cups, Tim Hortons decaf k-cups, Vanity Fair napkins, Kleenex tissues, Quilted Northern Ultra Plush toilet paper, Nutro chewy dog treats, Pedigree Marrobones and Dentistixs and several other dog treats too that I don't remember the brand of. I love having those things set up to be delivered on a schedule. I don't ever have to worry about running out of any of it, just makes my life a little easier. I love Amazon!

I'm brand loyal for everything. Although I experiment a lot with the shampoo/conditioner/body cream stuff. I have probably gone through most, if not all, brands you find at the drug stores. I'm picky about my stuff. I switched to sulfate/paraben free shampoos and conditioners and goat milk soap, both of which are fairly expensive, but the changes in my skin and hair have been amazing (and I have great hair), so it's worth it for me.

I am brand loyal for Heinz ketchup, Helmans mayonnaise, Colgate mouthwash, Christies saltine crackers & Campbells soup. Chips must be Lays or Doritos. Pizza is Casta de Mam (Dr Oetker). Marie Callander frozen dinners.
I like the Aldi brand of dairy products & most of their baking products.
Certain brands of clothes fit me well (NYDJ) .
