With summer approaching, I need a new and comfortable pair of flip flops. My poor feet are done with wearing the cheap ones I used to be able to wear. I don't mind paying for comfort and durability. I've been online looking at Clarks and Easy Spirit, but would love some advice from the Peas. What are wearing that is both stylish and comfortable?

I got a great cheap pair from target last year on clearance. They had a nice thick base that was comy, I'll try and find the band (I didn't see any at my target this year)

Hands down, Vionics are the best. Check them out on QVC for specials (and you should watch the presentation video too), but they are the best. They have a very high arch support which some people need a day or two to get used to but once you wear them you will never be able to wear another flip-flop because nothing compares to these as far as comfort goes. I love, love, love them. Lots of fun colors to pick from too!

I'm not a fan of flip flop because they don't give enough support for me to wear all day. But for a picnic or beach or pool, I only wear Reef.

I love Crocs Capris (fabric straps instead of plastic), Clarks and Vionics.

I have a Clarks pair I really like for short-term wear. I thought my issue was cheap flip flops, too, but it turns out that any flip flop or slide type sandal worn for a long time causes me problems with the tendons in my feet. I've had to look for sandals that have a strap in back and/or around the ankle.

I bought some Skechers memory foam ones last year. They are super comfy and became my go to around the house shoes.

I've been wearing Vionics for years now. I can't wear the flat flip-flops because I have to have arch support. These are the best I've ever tried.

I have plantar faciitis, and the only flip flops I wear 24x7 are Crocs Athens. The Crocs Capris are not supportive enough for me. LOVE my Crocs Athens. I have zillions of pairs. For dressy stuff, I wear Alegrias.

Oh, and the Vionics used to be Orthoheel. I wasted a lot of money on those. Couldn't wear them. I think everyone has to find what works best for them.

Yellow Box....no "break them in" blisters! You can get them for under $25. They sell them at Belks (a department chain in the South).

Clarks are very comfortable and durable. I wash mine and let them set in the garage to dry. I have several colors and a couple older versions as well. I also love Yellow Box.

Reefs are an old favorite of mine, but I also love the Sanuk yoga mat flip flops.

I just bought this pair of Vionic flip flops to wear around the house last week and they are wonderful! I also bought this pair to wear with sundresses and jeans. Wore them Friday for the first time at an outdoors antique fair. Lots of walking and was amazed that my feet weren't killing me the next day. I have plantars fascitis so a full day of walking was a true test of them.

Reefs are an old favorite of mine, but I also love the Sanuk yoga mat flip flops. Ditto. Although I will buy any brand that comes along, if I am going to be wearing them for any length of time while walking, I generally pull out reefs or sanuks.

I bought a pair of men's flojos last summer at Costco. I absolutely love them and they weren't more than $15. Yes, they had women's but I prefer thicker straps.

For beach / pool I wear havianas. For style and around town / fantastic comfort I wear fit flops. Love that fit flops look great with a summer dress and capris but can also go to the beach if necessary. I also take my fit flops to Disney since I can wear them all day.

Teva flip flops are so comfortable. I can wear them all day and they never bother me.

Try Chacos. I also recommend Vionic, Fit Flops and anything with a real sole with arch support. I want to try the Alegera (sp) ones!

I buy, my flip flops at Payless shoes in the mens section. I can't wear womans flip flops because the strap touches my feet in the wrong spots.
I have had the pair I am wearing right now for 5 years and they are still comfy.

I picked up a pair of Okabashi flip flops at goodwill the other day. Brand new with tags on them! Looked them up and they seem to have good reviews for comfort (only worn them in the house a few minutes so far...) From what I've read some of them are orthopedic and good for plantar fascists

Thanks for the excellent suggestions. I knew I could count on the "experts." I've already been online doing some research on these brands.

I find it so hard to find comfortable ones here. Might have to check out some of these options!

I always used to buy Merrell flip-flops, but since I lost some weight, their size 10s are too big for me and they stopped making half-sizes. They are really comfortable and supportive.

Just bought my 19th pair of Yellow Box. Love them. They last me a very long time. I wear them everyday in the spring and summer.
