I'm going to be in Vegas soon and would love to have some recommendations of places to eat. I'll be staying at MGM but I'm sure I'll be up and down the strip. I'll just be there with my husband. We're big fans of food so there are no dislikes and we're willing to do one more expensive dinner than we would usually do since we are in Vegas. We're just going for a fun, relaxing get away. Thanks in advance!

You will probably get more suggestions if you provide details such as adults only or kids too, budget, likes and dislikes, special occasion, etc..

We've eaten at N9NE Steakhouse twice. First time was a few years ago and we loved it, so we went back this year and were totally disappointed. I wish we would have eaten at CUT instead. We've eaten at TAO twice and really liked it both times.

Ellis Island Brewery and Casino is just east of the strip behind Bally's. It has an amazing steak dinner for $7.99 every day. Obviously there are other great options too, but this was a fun find!

Wolfgang Puck's restaurant in MGM was good-- I really liked the lasagna. It was one of the better meals I had last time I was there.
I also was surprisingly impressed with the Steakhouse over at Excalibur-- pricey, even with a prix fix menu, but I thought it was worth the price. Note that the sides are HUGE; 2-3 could share them.
I also like California Pizza Kitchen (it's in the Mirage) although that is technically a chain restaurant.

Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak at MGM is one of my favourite Vegas restaurants.
We've also had great meals at Circo, Olives and Yellowtail Japanese ($$$$) at the Bellagio.

We had brunch at a very nice french cafe across from the Bellagio. It's got outdoor seating, and indoors too. We were there last week ( didn't stay on the strip) and the temps were 100-105 every day. Ugggg. We sat inside, and the food was delicious.
If you want a delightful treat, drive up to Summerlin and eat at Honey Salt. We ate there 4 times! Fantastic, great food and wonderful service. It's in a corner of a small strip mall. We met the Exec Chef and his family / eating at the next table.
We have lots of food choices in the Bay Area, but this place is Amazing! 5 yelp stars . Totally worth the drive.

Oh, and a fabulous dessert at Honey Salt is "the Brookie"- molten chocolate cake with a chocolate chip cookie baked on top, and a scoop of Salted Caramel ice cream. Oh, my!

We were there over the 4th of July weekend and tried out Guy Fierri's Las Vegas Kitchen. Good food..service is still being worked out but no doubt better now. We tried an appetizer and 2 entrees based on recommendations from Yelp and they were delicious. It's located right next to Harrahs in the new LinQ

We ate at Gordon Ramsay's Burgr place. It's very good, but pretty pricey for a hamburger. The parmesan fries were amazing.

Have breakfast or dessert at Serendipity 3. We were able to split breakfast and had plenty to eat. We went back a second time because we loved it so much. We also had a great meal at Gordon Ramsey Steak at Paris.
