This might be old news, sorry if it is a repeat.
If you loved October Afternoon, you must go check out Carta Bella. Designer Steve Duncan who is the artist behind October Afternoon (not sure if all lines but you can tell his work) is now working with them, they are about to release the 4th line of his called The Great Outdoors and its wonderful!
OA has been my favorite favorite since their first collection. We all know what a PIA they are and this is so exciting to me that the designer is with a company that is consistent & knows what they are doing.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for sharing that. My DS will be working at our Boy Scout camp this summer and that line is perfect to scrap his adventures. Now I just need to find a way to make sure he takes some photos and shares them. Definitely has that OA look, I love it. I don't even care that I have a ton of other outdoor lines.

I just checked it out, it's super cute and has the OA vibe to me! Thanks! And I agree with already having many outdoor lines, & I still buy more! With a son in Scouts, and my DH getting back into it, and a family that likes the outdoors, it's a no-brainer addition for me!

So does that suggest OA has pretty much finished up?

I want the chipboard. The camper looks just like the one we had when I was a kid.
Here's a link to his website: link

I love this one and the Halloween one he did. The other two lines have a few papers that I like but not the whole line.

Love it! Thanks for sharing the info. Just as with OA, the B-sides are really nice too. I'm glad this talented designer found a new home!

Looks like he designed Carta Bella's Yacht Club collection, too, which I love and just bought. His great designs coupled with Carta Bella's gorgeous textured paper is a terrific pairing!

I don't even care that I have a ton of other outdoor lines. Oh, I hear that. With my son's Boy Scout trips; and my husband's 'hiking the High Peaks' adventures; and our summer vacations in the Adirondacks; and, on my (Canadian) side of the family, an upcoming family reunion at a lakeside "resort" (not a fancy resort: very rustic) in Canada ... I can always justify another outdoor line. And anyway, I just love that vintage, retro-camp vibe. Thank you, thank you, jtmom, for posting this. I love everything about The Great Outdoors; can't wait to get my hands on this kit.

And it turns out I have several of Duncan's Carta Bella kits in digital scrapbooking format (from Snap Click Supply Co.); didn't even know the name of Steven Duncan until this thread. Oh man, I'm now geeking out over his work. That Land of 10,000 Lakes - Vintage Minnesota design? It is to weep. Here's a digital LO I made recently with his Christmas Wonderland kit:

I love this one and the Halloween one he did. The other two lines have a few papers that I like but not the whole line. The Hallowe'en one he did reminded me of Witch Hazel (which of course, he also designed!) at the time I first saw it i wondered why it was so similar in feel. Thanks OP...i am totally buying this when I find it. Carta Bella is a company I like to support because I think their work is quality. Can't wait for this line.

Ohhh, his designs are to die for! He's making a lot of scrapbooking paper for a company called Putnam & England, Co. and I've googled it but cannot find it anywhere. Anyone here who knows how to get my hands on those collections?
