I only really see them on younger girls who are probably still experimenting with their look. It's something that can look awful if it's not done well but when I think back to some of my own make up experiments as a teen... I recently had a little accident with my brows, I was half concentrating on Netflix and half on plucking so I ended up with only half an eyebrow on the right side Thankfully my hair and my glasses help to hide it a bit!

Yup. I like thick eyebrows; when they are natural. I have never waxed or plucked mine too thin. Once I went to have them done and she waxed them too thin and I had a meltdown at the waxing place. It was awful for me. Mine are thinning as I am getting older. I am now experimenting with powder to help fill them in but am afraid to use a pencil for fear they will look too heavy and too penciled.

living in the Land of Kardashian, yes, yes I do. I was having lunch with my friend at a super casual dining place and all the girls had the thick brows and KK style makeup. it just looked weird especially in that setting. the thick brows, pancake makeup, pouty lined lips....shudder

I think they go very nicely with duck lips.

My eyebrows are definitely thinning, particularly at the point closest to my nose. I'm not good with an eyebrow pencil, but like the color you put on with a mascara-type brush. To me, they look fairly natural, but just a little more defined than they would ordinarily be. Nyx makes a good one for under $10 - Tinted brow mascara

I wish I didnt have to pencil my eye brows on every day. But I do. I have to.
I lost most of my right eye brow due to the injuries I sustained from the DUI accident. And because of the surgeries I had and reconstructive surgeries what I have of my right eye brow in higher then the left. So i pencil both. Have since 2000. Its tiring and I will soon be getting them tattooed

I think they go very nicely with duck lips. The only person I can think of that has this type of brow is the young relative that does all the duck face selfies. No one else really stands out in my mind. Both of my dd's are younger (16 and 26) and they are both Latina and neither of them are into make up. So neither of them do anything more than keep their brows from becoming a uni-brow. Just remembered, my dil does do a drawn on brow.

I have naturally nice eyebrows so I have never had to deal with plucking and or penciling them in.
I haven't noticed any one lately pencil them but I really haven't been looking at peoples eyebrows.
now since you have brought it to my attention I will be looking at everyones eyebrows. everywhere I go.

I attended a class today and the instructor had heavily penciled brows. Personally I think they would have looked better thinner, more natural. But then I have heavy natural eyebrows and have to tweeze.

I hope this doesn't come across wrong, but I have seen quite a few Hispanic women who appear to have removed their natural brows and have either tattooed or otherwise drawn on very thin, fake looking brows. I assume it is cultural but have been curious about it. teri I think you look great but darker brows would help to frame your face. Have you tried a pencil? I have thick but very light colored brows. I get them threaded but have also started using it cosmetics brow pencil and really like it. They have an auburn color (I am a redhead) and it lasts all day. Maybe stop in at ulta or Sephora and have them try some products out.

I only get waxed a few times a year. I just ordered a brow kit online today (thanks enablers...lol)

Mine are tattooed. They've been shrinking with age and I got so tired of penciling several times a day (in the morning, after working out, after swimming). One of the best things I've ever done. Here's my before and after. I love your eyebrows! If I knew for sure mine would turn out as natural, I would do it in a heartbeat. I am blonde, and I haven't really plucked them in years. I went into Ulta and had mine dyed and shaped and she commented that thicker brows were becoming the new thing. I can't get mine any thicker than they are, and that would never be called thick by anyone's standards. I have to use both a pencil (I also use Anastasia brow pencil)and I already had a two-color tray of eyebrow powder from Benefits. What I would love in the mean time is a safe dye so that I can dye those white spine things that are popping up among the light colored hairs. I am going to seriously ask my son about his tattoo artist. He has one sleeve done and it is so crisp and perfect in comparison to my nieces' work. I may just take a copy of your photo, idahomom. Just give me this!
