I'm thinking chicken tortilla soup for dinner. Crockpots are a beautiful thing. What's on your menu? Have a great Tuesday. leannec keep celebrating your birthday. I think birthday celebrations should last at least a week.

Sloppy Joes tonight, although I really want to make a pasta dish I made a couple of weeks ago instead. But, the ground beef is thawed, and I bought the peppers and onions for the sloppy joes, so we will go ahead with those!

I ended up doing kid stuff last night, so hopefully tonight I will manage to make the broccoli cheddar soup. I might put bacon bits in it, too. I like to add a little excitement to life.

I am taking a road trip with my best friend because her dad is having a heart catheterization and she was my rock during Phoebe's illness. I am eating somewhere in Ohio! I have never been before and am looking forward to helping her like she helped me.

I'm going to try the Korean Beef recipe that's so popular. I'll have to cut back on the brown sugar, though. DH doesn't like sweet main dishes.
I'll serve it over rice with some steamed broccoli on the side.

I want an easy night in the kitchen so I think we'll have one pot cheesy mac. It's easy and everyone likes it. Will roast some peppers and broccoli to go with it.

I'm going to roast a ton of veggies and have a feast! I have broccoli, asparagus, zucchini, cauliflower, red and orange peppers, and sweet potatoes to roast.

We both ended up working in the garden and mowing till dusk last night and came in to eat a bowl of cereal. Whew, that was easy. I'll try again tonight for our spaghetti dinner.

Youngest ds baseball practice has been cancelled - so happy about that, which means tonight I can actually spend some time cooking.
Trying a new recipe tonight - chicken with asparagus with edamame and I'm also adding fava beans because I have some that need eating up. Think we might have baked fries too.

We're having egg roll stir-fry/egg roll in-a-bowl, rice, steamed broccoli, cantaloupe and strawberries, rolls (for the person that likes only beige tone foods), and the shortbread/mixed berry dessert from last night.

Well, DH had leftover spaghetti and the last hot dog while I had a tomato sandwich. It was a store bought tomato but ours in the garden are beginning to turn. So I will be eating a home grown tomato sandwich SOON!!!!!

You are really living on the edge, aren't you?? I will be getting Thai. The kids don't like it, and that's fine. They can have Burger King or Subway or sandwiches from Safeway or Walmart. In fact, I have been so inspired by Lucy's dangerous lifestyle that I think I will let them get pizza again! They will be thrilled. Lisa

DH is gone tonight, so it's just me. I'm walking with a friend this evening and will probably look for a healthy-ish takeout option when we get home.

Color me jealous! Also, protect your new tomatoes from people like me who would be happy to fry up the green ones.

We had " homemade Cracker Barrel " breakfast for dinner we have not been able to go home in over a year and my husband is really homesick right now. We miss Cracker Barrel so I made bisquits with gravy bacon pan cakes and french toast for dinner, it was soooo good
