I'd like to start off in Paris and then head to Normandy, Brittany, and the Loire Valley.
I'd love to do it with my husband and girls, but only once they are adults/young adults.

2 weeks in Hawaii with DH and my kids. Staying somewhere right on the beach. Did you see the movie, The Descendant's with George Clooney? There are the coolest houses right on the beach in that movie. Right in the Hanalei area of Kauai. I would love to stay somewhere like that!

My dream trip would involve a tour of all the Disney Parks with 2 weeks outside of the park time in Paris, Singapore and Toyko to explore the cities around the parks. I would Go with my brother and to the Toyko park, my husband in Paris, and my son and his girlfriend in Singapore.

I have done my dream trip. I flew business -first class (round trip) to Amsterdam, went on a 2 week river cruise all the way to Budapest.
It was wonderful, amazing and so much fun.

I have lots of dream trips planned for someday but right now, it's staying at Jumby Bay in Antigua. It's an all-inclusive, private island off the coast of Antigua and DH and I really, really want to go. We talked about going last summer for our 10th anniversary but ended up taking a shorter trip due to a variety of circumstances. Hopefully we can get there soon.

Hard to choose - so much I want to see/do. Number one thing I haven't done is probably the Himalayas. It will happen eventually, but the hurdle right now is having enough vacation time to take at once, so it's possible it will have to wait until my husband and I retire.
This summer we're crossing a dream trip off the list - trekking for two weeks in the Huayhuash in Peru. Can't wait!

Fly First Class to the US on an A380. A road trip through the US stopping off at all the theme parks. Meeting up with as many peas as possible along the way. With DSO and the kids, as well as my niece and nephew and DD's boyfriend. Even though I dislike driving long distances I'd probably be happy to drive part of the way if I could drive this: Stop off in Hawaii on the way home, staying at the "Pink Palace". There is no way known this would truly happen. By the time I could afford it (when I no longer have school fees) the kids would be adults and I'd be too old to enjoy the scary rides. Even if we didn't fly first class we wouldn't be able to afford it.

First class flight to Sydney then a 2 month cruise back to the UK, with many stops along the way. Since this is a dream trip I'll stay in a luxury suite on the ship

Take my husband and sons to Europe. If I have to be more specific, then England. It will never happen.
I know you said pick one but: my mom loves to travel but she can hardly walk anymore and by the time I retire in a few years I think she might not be able to anymore. But I would take her to Australia. She wants to go on a cruise there but I'm still working full time. So I didn't choose that one because it is her dream trip that I wish I could make happen.

What a great thread! There a million places I'd like to go but lately I've been fantasizing about spending two weeks in Positano on the Amalfi Coast. We were in Italy this summer and spend half a day there, but I would love to go for a long time with DH and pretend I live there. One day, I'll make it happen!

Because I can't live by your rules man:
1. First class all the way trip to see all the tennis Grand Slam--Australian, French, Wimbledon, US Open-- events in a year. Will this happen? Doubtful. If it did, I'd love to go with my oldest friend and childhood tennis buddy.
2. I'd like to take a National Geographic trip to the Galápagos Islands which has scientists on board the boat. This trip I'd take DH.
3. Photographic trip to Iceland. This one will definitely happen. I'd go alone.

Since I can only pick one drean trip, it has to be the National Geographic Around the World by Private Jet tour with DH. The current price tag is $80,000/person so I don't know if I could ever persuade DH to go. It does make any other trip I plan look like a bargain though . I think this would be a perfect way to kick of retirement in 7 or so years.

A return trip to The Maldives, a luxury suite on stilts over turquoise waters, glass viewing floor area and plunge pool, and very importantly, a personal butler/chef. I'd go with dh.....could we go.....? conceivably in a few years time if we didn't have any other hols in the meantime! Some place like this I think. Or...did you guys see/remember seeing a million years the movie 'Against All Odds?" I don't even remember what it was about, football or something, but the main female character lived on one of those types of clear water lagoon type beaches in a house that the entire wall facing the beach was like a giant sliding door. A simple house, but you could walk from the house directly out on to the beach. I would stay there, forever if allowed, but for as long as I could otherwise. I would take my mom along with me. She is my perfect beach buddy-that is important for a beach trip.

We're planning on a trip to Italy next year for our anniversary. I really need to get planning that now!
In 4 years we'll be going to England/Paris. I went to England years ago and loved it so much. I want to take my husband back there

Internationally - Great Britain for 2-3 months so I could take my time and have days of doing nothing mixed in with active days.
In the US - Right now I would say NYC at Thanksgiving/Christmas, with behind the scenes tour of the parade balloons, and the very best seats from which to watch the parade. I'd like to have at least a week, preferably two, just for the city itself. And I'd prefer to go with somebody be who knows their way around.

I can only choose one? What is this, Highlander?
I'm going to go with a tour of Australia/New Zealand. DH wants to do a cruise around those countries and see as much as possible along the way. I'd like to do that within the next ten years, but I am getting old and it's harder to travel, so I would only go if I could fly first class. I'm not sure I could cram into coach for that long of a flight at this point. I'd be in too much pain to enjoy myself once I arrived. But I don't even want to know how much first class tickets would cost.

I want to go to Paris & England.
I am hoping that we can make it happen summer 2017 or 2018 to celebrate our 20th anniversary & my daughter graduating high school. I would bring my son as well.

I'm dying to go to Cuba. We tried really hard to make it happen for our 15th anniversary trip this summed but the visa situation is still too weird for US passport holders. Hopefully in the next couple of years before it gets too modernized.

Almost all of the island is covered with hard & rough volcanic ash. I took the 'Golden Circle' tour. Raw meaning that at the one waterfall, there were 2 sticks with a very thin rope that had a tiny sign that said 'danger', to keep people from going over a very steep cliff. Icelandic Airlines has some very affordable packages. They include many options, all of them are wonderful & allow for plenty of time for photography. If you want to rent a car, most are stick shift.

It's not like they are an anachronistic society, cut off from the rest of the world.

I have 2.
The first is a heritage trip with my Dad to Finland, Sweden, and Norway. He did similar trips in the 70's and 80's so knows where a bunch of the relatives lived etc. Hoping that I can get that going sometime in summer or early fall this year. My Dad is 70 and I've been wanting to do this all my life so trying to make this happen.
The second is what I call my Penguin World Tour. It is so big that I don't think that I will be able to do it all at once. I will probably have to break it up. I want to go and see penguins in the wild where they live so: Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Galapagos Islands, Patagonia, and I just found out that you can take cruises to Antarctica. DH is willing to take me. It will probably not happen until after he retires or we will have to do it in smaller chunks.

If I had to pick one it would be Hawaii. That's my first pick in my bucket list, just not sure when I'll be able to do it. Would love to spend time there with my husband to just relax and enjoy the island.
