I just pulled a frozen pizza out of the oven (I'm splurging while I watch the DWTS finale--don't judge, LOL).
How do you slice yours? Me? It depends. A smaller pie gets sliced into pie-shaped slices. A full-sized pizza gets sliced into little squares.

Like a pie! There's a pizza place here that cuts their pizza into squares and we always specify we want it cut like a pie when we order. We swear it tastes different! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

There is a place here that makes pretty decent pizza but it is rectangle shaped and they cut it in squares. My kid LOVES it and begs me for it on pizza night. But I just can't. I order it for them when I'm not eating it. Pizza is a pie darn it!

I don't like squares.

I prefer squares! One local place sells 4-corner pizzas so every piece has two edges. I generally prefer crust and won't always eat the center pieces.

We have an amazing deep dish four corner pizza that I love here. But those are supposed to be square. A round pizza cut into square always leaves several tiny triangle pieces at the edges that are mostly sauce and very little cheese. Those are so disappointing.

Like a pie. I only cut squares when we grill homemade pizza because we roll it out into a rectangle shape.

I usually ask "which way should I cut it?" when we make pizza. Like a pie mostly wins, but sometimes not if the mood strikes.

However Andolini's, Mario's, or The Hideaway sliced it for me.

A circular pizza should be cut like a pie. A rectangular pizza in squares.

Like a pie, except Totinos are now rectangles! Totally threw me off. DH bought some Totinos the other day, and I was completely confused by the fact that they were rectangle! So we cut it into squares. Otherwise, I cut pizza like a pie.

They recently changed and they are in plastic, not cardboard but taste the same. They were on a Friday special and I had coupons and it's almost summer (kids eating lunch at home). I won't say how many I bought, but they were only 0.58 each.

Typically, I cut it like a pie. These days, I normally buy a "fresh" non frozen deli pizza to bake... but when I WAS eating frozen pizzas, I would cut them into squares because that's how they get cut for samples at the grocery store. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) It tastes better that way.

It really depends on how many people we need to feed with it. When I was hosting crops, someone told me that you will feed more people with less pizza by cutting it into squares vs. triangles. I didn't believe it, so we tested out the theory at two different crops that had the same number of people. At one we cut the pizza into triangles and every last piece was eaten. (Or maybe "taken" is the better word, I don't know that all of it was actually eaten.) At the next crop, (mostly the same people and the same kinds of pizza) we cut it into squares and easily had two whole pizzas left over! It was so weird. YMMV.
I prefer to cut it into squares at home because the leftover pieces fit better in a rectangular Tupperware container. And I like the little corner pieces that are mostly crust!

One time my kids ordered a pizza online. There was a place for "special requests". They requested that the slices be shaped like stars. But it was cut in the regular triangle shapes

I don't care that much for the crust, so I like it cut like a pie so the crust is at one end. The crust is the handle so to speak.

Funny, we ordered pizza yesterday and since we got a bigger size, my brother asked me to have it cut into squares. The store we order from offers this option when you place an order. For a smaller sized pizza, we usually go for the regular pie slice.

Mostly in a pie shape. Like OP said, if I am feeding lots of people, then I cut it in squares. That's what my mom did too. I haven't bought a Totino's in a long time. Now I must research this rectangle pizza (guilty pleasure)!

Thin crust = squares. Any other crust = regular pie cut.

If you cut a round pizza into squares, then you end up with a bunch of pieces that have no "handle". Not good! Now I want pizza.

Round pizzas are cut like pie, any other shape, in squares. And we use a rocker blade instead of a pizza cutter.
