Had you ever heard the term "two peas in a bucket" before?

I have been to Wisconsin three times in the past week, and I haven't heard that phrase uttered by the locals. LOL

Maybe they had a graphic they found and wanted to use? Who the heck knows...

Lived in Wisconsin all my life and had never heard that phrase. I always thought it must be an inside joke kind of thing.

I was thinking bucket = shopping cart?

I'm pretty sure I remember reading a post from the wife (Kristina?) many years ago and she said it was their own little joke from when she and her husband first met that they were "as alike as two peas in a bucket", by which I think she meant, they weren't alike at all.
Then when they decided to open a business it seemed natural to call it that.

Someone else must remember that?

For those of you that wonder about the name, here's some insight into our world. It all started with Raiders of the Lost Ark. Kristina and I liked the crazy French accent of Dr. Rene Belloq when he said to Indiana Jones, 'You and I are very much alike.' Well, Kristina and I are very much alike, and so we started saying it -- often! At some point we added 'We are like Two Peas in a Bucket' to the end of the phrase and it stuck for the last eight years or so. When we were trying to find a name for our company, one that was meaningful to us, it seemed perfect! More than you wanted to know, right?

BTW...made me sad looking through all the different board layouts. I also remember how much we hated each one when they rolled out.

It has always reminded me of my dad, who made a habit of accidentally and sometimes purposely messing up popular sayings or phrases.

For instance, if he was to leave us home alone, he'd tell us to "Hold down the fork." instead of holding down the fort.

And at one time he used to call my mom & I "two peas in a jar". Once I even jokingly made a little canning jar with 2 dried peas in it due to that mangled saying.

So 2 peas in a bucket always reminded me of Dad & his "2 peas in a jar".

my hubby was well aware of my fondness to the two peas in a bucket board and when I told him it has closed down
he replied, "Well, it's because they did not have enough peas in their bucket"............I had to laugh, so glad
we have this place to land.

No, I'd never heard of it, and still haven't, in reference to anything other than the pod. I remember thinking it was such a cool, off the wall name.

I did too so I started looking at 2002. I know they posted it before 2009 but I couldn't find it using the way back website.
