Yes. I'm visiting Orlando/Universal/Harry Potter this fall. I'll also be in Florida for a cruise in the spring (Tampa, not Orlando for that trip).

Probably not, but not because of the mass murder, but because we've been there and none of us is a big theme park person.

The boys are still going on their band trip in April to Disney. Before they leave, they will spend a day at universal studios. If it wasn't for that trip, we would've planned one. The shooting wouldn't change that.
A man drive his truck into a 9 bicyclists here. The next day, people ride their bikes. You can't let one asshole prevent you from living your life.

Well.... I won't come. But not because of terrorism but because I have no interest in Disney. Yeah, blasphemy to some, I know. But seriously...if I wanted to come to Disney I would. I live across the river from Washington, DC, not far from the Pentagon. I live with the thought of possible terrorist attacks every day. I don't let it keep me from doing things, although I keep my eyes opened in crowds for things like unattended backpacks or bags. Sadly I think in these days that anywhere there are people is a potential target. Unless we become hermits we are possibly putting ourselves in the path of something.

I live about 3 hours north of Orlando - we're there probably 3 or 4 times a year at least (so far this year - we've been once as a family and then DH, DS, and YDD went once as well, and ODD spent several days at Disney for a school tournament)
I don't see the tragedy at the Pulse impacting that. Terrorism (domestic or foreign) can strike anywhere and I refuse to let terrorists make me live in fear - they win that way.

I'd get on a plane for Orlando right now if I could. I'm going in December and even if there were rumors of an attack around that time, I'd still go. I trust Disney security, and I need my Mickey fix.

Never occurred to me to change my plans. Headed there in the fall with dh for a short break. Only there a few days, staying on property but may skip the parks altogether. Will still head to Disney Springs probably multiple nights.
After 9/11, we took advantage of everyone else's fears. We live within driving distance but had a great weekend at the Trump International Hotel at Columbus Circle because the rates were so very low. Did whatever we could at a bargain price that fall. Dh worked at the WTC and barely stopped going in. Skipped a few days until they had a spot for him in another building.

I would have no problem traveling to Orlando. Evil happens everywhere but I can't let it stop me from enjoying life!

We are still planning on coming eventually. If I try and explain to my 6 year old daughter that she will never get to see the princesses at Disney because some guy decided to shoot up a club full of other people, she is not going to find that to be an acceptable reason to never meet the princesses.

We're at the parks now. We expected ramped up security, but it's been the same. I admit I was a bit nervous sending my teens to universal by themselves yesterday, but of course everything was fine.

Sadly, I believe every one of us live in a potential terrorist target as there are evil people everywhere. Yes, I will still go to Orlando, Disney or anywhere else I want to go!

Absolutely. We're actually driving home from 9 days there right now. We did notice some increased security with more police dogs, more Disney security, more security from Orange Co Sheriff and more use of metal detectors.

Honestly, I'd be more shocked if someone said no they wouldn't for that exact reason.
Bad things happen EVERYWHERE, and can happen any time. I don't believe anyone but the truly mentally ill or panic type disorder would stop going just because of that horrible night. Especially to a place like Disney.

We are still coming in January. DS's high school band is playing at Disney and we are traveling to see them and be on site if he runs into food allergy issues. This shooting could have happened in any city the country. The guy just happened to live in FL and carried out his plan in an area familiar to him. I'm more afraid of Disney cute and sweet overload than I am of another shooter.

I'm unlikely to ever visit Orlando, but it's not because of what happened there. That can happen anywhere. I routinely visit Chicago and Philadelphia, which are probably 1000x more likely to result in my death than Disney! I don't stay home in fear.
Though I will admit that when DH went to Israel on business, I had zero interest in accompanying him. The US offers me enough terror without having to update my passport.

I will go to Orlando if the opportunity comes along, and I will go to Disney. If we avoid places/cities where there are these horrific tragedies - the bad guys win making us afraid.
I will continue to travel, and go places within those cities, but as I have before, be aware of my surroundings.

The shooter is dead, why would it affect my plans to go to Orlando? I'm sure security is tight at Disney, they probably check kids backpacks.

Absolutely - Disney is there!
I won't let the possibility of what "might" happen, stop me from living life the way I want to. And that includes trips to Disney when I can afford it.

Yes I will still come. I have two trips planned there in the coming year. I am also a NYer who lived here through 9/11. I understand fear but I do not let it hinder my life. I can't live in fear.

I'm in Orlando currently..we got here Saturday. We did one day at MKingdom Sunday and plan on going back tomorrow.
We went to 'Ohana for dinner tonight and talked about going to a movie theater, but honestly, going to the movies had me freaked out. Enough to not go. I'm not sure why..I'm usually not that way.

Terrorist win when we live in fear. I can't be afraid or I would never go anywhere. I will say I opted to not go the the last world series game. My friend had a press pass and we could have gotten in. I was afraid that it would be a huge hot spot for terroristic activity. I regret now not going.

Sadly, I don't have a trip to Disney planned. However, if I did I would absolutely come!! Terrorists are bullies. I believe in standing up to bullies. If I want to visit Orlando I will.
