I'm always looking for new crock pot recipes and would Love to hear what your favorites are. I also have a question--lately I have been finding a lot of recipes that say to cook for 3-4 hours. I typically need to let them stay in there longer, like a whole work day. Do you find that those recipes work if you leave it in longer on low? Thanks!

Love this on a baked potato... and I do leave it to cook all day, about 9-10 hours on low. Chicken Taco ChiliI skip the packet of taco seasoning and use the directions to make my own seasonings. It's one of the few boneless skinless chicken breast recipes that turns out tasty. (I can give you tips on halving the recipe if you want. That's what I usually do; half a batch feeds me and SO with two big potatoes and chili with a LOT of chili left over. And I usually only use ONE chicken breast for a half recipe, although I think that works out because they are mutant sized chickens.)

Oh, I like this one, too, but you'll have to do a little prep the night before or in the morning (cooking onions). It says you can leave it to cook overnight so I'm sure you could let it cook all day. I usually make this on a Sunday so I can cook it on high for four hours, because I typically refuse to do any sort of "precooking" of ingredients going into a crockpot. (If you want me to brown meat ahead of time, forget it.) But I really like French Onion soup and this is the most restaurant-like recipe I've found, so I am willing to suck it up and precook the main ingredient. Crockpot French Onion SoupTaste it near the end; you may want to add more worchestershire sauce. I also recommend using an extra onion, maybe two, if you like a lot of onions in your soup.
