I seem to have an ongoing issue with bloat lately. I've tried Gas-X, Malox, a few other over the counter liquids. I already drink plenty of water. I've even been trying Flat Tummy Tea for the past week. No help. I feel like I have a bowling ball in my stomach! Super poofy ya know.
Any other suggestions?
PS. I'm not pregnant and it's not period related...I don't get one with my shot.

I find wheat-based foods and things made with flour cause bloating. Have you tried cutting them out of your diet?

I'll second wheaty carbs and add carbonation, dairy, and probablynotthisbutjustbeaware, your ovaries.
ETA: or any artificial sweeteners

If has been ongoing for awhile, I would go see my doctor. If everything checks out, I found cutting down on dairy really helped me cut down on bloating.

I have suffered with bloating for years. I have finally figured out that eating as clean as I can is working. I have cut out bread, pasta, white potatoes, white rice, drinks with sugar, and most processed foods. Lean meats, veggies, fruit and lots of water have become my life. I still have dairy- cheeses, cottage cheese, eggs, etc. I feel so much better!

I am a Weight Watcher girl, so my carb consumption is fairly low. I'll look back through my WW app for the last few weeks and see if anything stands out though. I avoid artificial sugars as much as possible. Just some Stevia in ice tea every now and then. 95% of the time I drink water. Unfortunately a doc visit isn't an option right now as no job and no insurance. Hoping that changes soon!! Fingers crossed after an interview I had today.

Just wondering aloud, no actual experience...
I wonder if some exercise routine that has you doing crunches or other ab workout would help.

It's been so hot lately I've just been doing 30 minutes walk late in the evening. I've been swimming a lot in the afternoons. I'm going to google some water exercises that will work the abdomen.

I was actually just wondering today if other people notice bloating when they are ovulating? Yes! And it's horrendously painful. I was having horrible pain with ovulation but in the last few months have hardly noticed it. I have been exercising, eating healthy and taking magnesium. Not sure what has made the difference but it has been noticeable. However, I have noticed weight gain around the time of ovulation and wondered if it was due to the hormonal changes or something else that I was eating/doing.
