I've got a PedEgg too. I should break it out and use it. Thanks for the reminder. Just be careful when you use it so that you don't file down to raw skin, that may or may not have happened the first time I used it.

I've found the microfiber turbans at the dollar stores. I hate the feel of microfiber, too, but the turbans work so well. My hair holds a ton of water and takes forever to dry. I just rub a bit of styling creme into my damp hair and wrap it up into the turban until my hair is almost dry. Then I can blow dry and style it in 5 minutes instead of 30.
I can't think of any product regrets off the top my head right now. I'll think about it and come back. I know there have been some.

Bada Bing Bada Boom! Flexitol in my cart, buy it now, Prime, I'll have it Tuesday! Thanks marianne, although I'm going broke here. I'm such a sucker for anything the peas recommend. Had the board not been resurrected, I'd be able to buy a yacht and sail around the world....well, maybe a canoe trip down the Detroit River! Well you can thank the Admin whole heartedly then, because I don't think a canoe trip down the Detroit river would be as fun as refupeas. And about 5 of those 24 miles might actually be dangerous.

I haven't used either of them yet, but yesterday my Amazon order of a pressure cooker and electric tea kettle came. I'm hoping I love them both! As I type, there is a commercial for Hydro Mousse, which is supposed to help you grow grass better. I am tempted to get it.

Linda Lou, if you make a video of you wearing your gloves washing a cucumber and put it on You Tube you're going to be rich. People watch the craziest things on You Tube. It could go viral. Then you could buy all of the new infomercial products.

Be sure to come back w/a review. While I don't have a 'what was I thinking' purchase, I do have one that I regret. Years ago I bought a hair towel called the Turbie Twist from QVC. Love, love, love that thing. I have 3. However, they're getting old, the elastic is almost shot, so I bought some more at a local beauty supply. The ones I bought were cotton terry. The new one is microfiber. Hate, hate, hate microfiber. So, I gifted them to my friend who doesn't have the same heebie-jeebie reaction. I went to Amazon & bought another one. The package said 100% cotton. Apparently, microfiber is made from cotton because it's THE EXACT SAME THING. Woe is me, will I ever be able to replace my beloved Turbie Twist? I live in Ohio and we can still buy Turbie Twist here in Walgreen drugstores and Kroger stores. I got them as stocking stuffers last year for all my girls. They were even in Christmas colors !

Then you could buy all of the new infomercial products. Brilliant! I am always amazed at these viral YouTube videos, like what were they thinking. Now I may become a star in my own right. There is a farmer's market near me, on a hunt to seek the largest cucumber on the planet. Maybe I need a infomercial about a miracle grow product!!!

I bought a fluffy white bathrug that of course, shows dirt. My bathroom is narrow, and I spend too much effort trying NOT to step on it and get it dirty.

Regarding the Turbie Twist-if you have any kind of of hair that isn't straight (wavy, curly) microfiber is MUCH better for your hair than the cotton version. It is smoother and will cause a LOT less frizz than using a standard cotton towel. That is if you can stand to touch the microfiber Debbie in MD.

Look what my thread started. Tiffany you got your twisty thingys and I'm going to get stuck with four pair of shitty gloves. I know! I am so excited! And very grateful to you. Don't discount your gloves just yet. Ya never know . . . The skin on my hands doesn't feel dry but the microfiber hangs off of my hand like I'm made of velcro and the microfiber is the other piece. It creeps me out. And I can't, which is why my curly hair will just have to suffer thru the cotton. Maybe if I wear a pair of linda lou's gloves I can deal w/the microfiber. Hmmm . . .

My Mum used to buy so many weird things, The Buttoneer for example, that it cured me from impulse buying. I`m having a laugh at your descriptions though.

Bed, Bath, and Beyond for Turbie Twists- use your coupon!
I know what you mean about microfiber. Sometimes it snags on my hands and creeps me out.

It is smoother and will cause a LOT less frizz than using a standard cotton towel. That is if you can stand to touch the microfiber Debbie in MD. I thought I read somewhere that plain cotton is better than terrycloth or microfiber for curly hair.... So I've started wrapping my hair in an old t-shirt to dry. It does seem to work much better than my regular towels did at keeping the frizz down. I'll have to give microfiber a try!

linda~lou - get rid of the PedEgg, you must try Flexitol Heel Balm! It's a miracle cream, honest! I struggled with dry, cracked heels most of my adult life; tried the Flexitol a couple of years ago and was seriously amazed at the results. I followed directions religiously and really did notice it working in 3 days, just like it claims. The only thing I do now is lotion each night and maintain with the Flexitol periodically. More in the winter time. I'll never have to use (or empty!) anything as harsh as the PedEgg again. I got it on Amazon (where else?) lol, and you can also get it at Walmart. About $10 for a 4 oz tube - totally worth it, a little goes a long way. There then - there's my review - try it, you'll like it! OK, this sounds amazing. Is there a scent to it? DH hates anything with scent so I'm kind of limited in what fun lotions I can use. TIA!

hawkeyegal It really is! It has very little scent, in my opinion, though I've read some reviews that thought otherwise. I don't think I would care if it smelled like rotten eggs, it gets the job done well and that's what matters to me. I just got my DH convinced - his feet were very dry and peeling - he bought a tube last week, and already they're smoothing out. It's actually a cream, kind of thick but spreadable. I can't recommend it enough.
