I've not done this in a few years now, but DH and I had a terrible, habit of watching very late, night tv after going out to the pub. We now own a set,of Power of Love CD 's and a set of Sounds of the Sixties CD 's.

I told you all about my former roommate's new roommate? This guy she was living with kept ordering off The Shopping Channel late at night. Amy said crap kept showing up and there was no where to put it all. At one point they had 3 food dehydrators. Yeah.

I had a turbie twist from QVC that was cotton with a button on the back and I loved it. I have not been able to find one like it since! I have found the ones with the elastic on the end but they are not as good as the original. They are nowhere near as absorbant!

I can't believe all the love for these turbo hair things. What do they do exactly? I'm assuming it's for people with long thick hair. My hair is short fine and thin. My hair is dry practically by the time I step out of the shower.
So can I check this off finally, as one thing I don't have to buy that the peas recommended. Whew....

Be sure to come back w/a review. While I don't have a 'what was I thinking' purchase, I do have one that I regret. Years ago I bought a hair towel called the Turbie Twist from QVC. Love, love, love that thing. I have 3. However, they're getting old, the elastic is almost shot, so I bought some more at a local beauty supply. The ones I bought were cotton terry. The new one is microfiber. Hate, hate, hate microfiber. So, I gifted them to my friend who doesn't have the same heebie-jeebie reaction. I went to Amazon & bought another one. The package said 100% cotton. Apparently, microfiber is made from cotton because it's THE EXACT SAME THING. Woe is me, will I ever be able to replace my beloved Turbie Twist? ACK! I had 2 of the original ones NIB in my hall closet that my mother got us girls YEARS ago that we never used (hair was too long then and it wouldn't all fit) that I just donated to the Goodwill, I would have sent them to you!!!!

What's the thing called you put on the button to add a little squeeze room to your jeans? Yeah I have a pack of them that I bought last year. Still sitting in a drawer. Ooohhh and the thing that makes your bras a racer back? Yep gives me muscle strain headaches when I use it...
Dumb, dumb, dumb....

That's so sweet! Not to worry, scrapbrat is hookin' me up. I also plan on hitting up Walgreen"s, etc. so I can stock up. I'm sure yours went to a very worthy lady.
