I am so very sorry for your loss. I can feel your pain in your post and it makes me sad for you. I lost my mom in 1989 and there are days it still hits me like a ton of bricks. I hope that you find peace and comfort in the grieving group.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad to cancer last year and it is still hard. I know what you mean when you say you look for signs of your mom. Every time I go to my moms I still look for him to be sitting on the couch. Time will lessen the pain but unfortunately its now part of your life. Maybe I'm crazy but I still "talk" to my dad and think of what he might say sometimes. I believe our loved ones live on in our hearts. She will come to you in your dreams. Let yourself grieve and feel the pain but don't get stuck there. Every day you must pull yourself out and go on with your life. Your mom wants you happy. Hugs.

I feel your pain and anguish in your words. I was there, and I really have no great advice. You just have to go moment by moment, sometimes it's minute by minute. And those times will get longer and then you will go back to shorter. It's such a process of feeling ok to going right back to feeling such pain. Everyone handles things differently, you will work through it on your time. My prayers to you. Big Hugs to you too.
