Glasses, bikes, arrows, cameras, owls, clouds, foxes, owls..

I like some of the icons, but they get overdone. So, yes to no icons for a while.

I am noticing a few octopuses (pi) showing up and am super excited. I have no idea why. I have never seen one out of captivity,

   I can think of no circumstance in which I would want to use an octopus on a layout - not even if I was scrapping pics of an aquarium visit. 

Get out!  We do Caribbean vacations and I got the octopus punch for water layouts.  We also have a boat at the lake and well, that one is a stretch.  I do love all things underwater though.

I might use an octopus on a swimming layout with my young grandson. But, an owl? Never used one. I'll have to try to use my VW van/bug stickers on a card or something. I think they are really cute, but can't see them on a layout.

Finding Dory has an octopus. Beyond that, I couldn't use them either. I don't travel and don't live near a beach.

I like cameras and bunting; in small doses. Foxes say camping page to me. My son's mascot is an owl, so I'm kind of happy those are still easy to find.

I think of arrows as one of the basics in scrapbooking like flowers, basic shapes, tags, brads, and other stuff I'm sure to forget to list.

ETA: I do love mason jars. I have them on a couple of Cricut cartridges so no need to buy them.

I'm working on a HP book and have used the poop out my owl punch.

With apologies to 505scrapper , I am still trying to figure out what the heck to do with all the hot air balloons that appear on travel pp, masculine lines, steampunk (which I collect for the metals and gears...)

I like suns and clouds on paper and being able to make them with my dies, but not sure what to do with those balloons...

I use them on school layouts, and Harry Potter layouts.

I love cameras in large doses. I use them on so many layouts.

I can honestly say I've gotten my money's worth out of my mason jar stamp & die set. (thanks mason jar loving & enabling peas!) I love thinking up stuff to "fill" that bad boy up with and use it on a layout.

 Always! I have three camera stamps (plus one tiny Polaroid picture outline stamp)

Cameras will always make sense when it comes to scrapping, so I don't see those going away...

I like animals on pages especially: birds, butterflies, woodland animals, bunnies what have you...I am perhaps not so literal. I don't feel someone has to be camping to use woodland animals on a page. I if like the look of something I am banging on it there! don't think it fits the theme, fine, but it's my page! For me animals often have their own mood and often I select embellishments to fit the mood of the page...

I can even see using the occasional donut/doughnut on a page "You're so sweet" perhaps? But the huge amount of food themed items is something I admit I don't get...ugly '80's hamburgers, pretzels? No, thanks! At least an animal icon might be cute or aesthetically appealing a hamburger is for eating not admiring!

I've been seeing cacti (isn't that plural for cactus lol?!) a few times now too. Maybe that's the next big thing along with the octopus?

Moustaches have been one of the silliest trends IMO. I never understood what that was about. 

I am gonna go see flamingos at the Flamingo, so I'm glad that's they're this year's trend.
