When you are head-down and focused on work do you listen to music? If so, what is your go-to playlist or station that keeps you focused? Spotify, Pandora or maybe streaming a radio station?
I'm looking for new music to work by. I love to have my earbuds in and working when I am focused and trying to get work done and would love to hear what you all listen to.

I listen to movie/tv scores (playlists abound on Pandora and Spotify).
I know movie scores may sound like an odd choice, but pieces by the same classical composer over and over can get on my nerves, so the scores mix it up a bit.

I have 2 faves...Most days I listen to a local radio station - 104.7 The Fish - which is a Contemporary Christian Station But other days I like to listen to Sirius Online or through the app on my phone - my fave is 80s on Ch. 8 or New Wave on Ch. 33

I have a lot of time when I do mindless tasks. Like data entry, that kind of thing. I am currently working on a big accounting project matching credits and debits together in an electronic accounting system. It's pretty boring. I listen to Dr. Laura's program. She would criticize my life big time, I have made a lot of wrong choices according to her beliefs. But I find her very entertaining to listen to.

I'm an auditor that sits in a team that loves to eat carrots, celery, chips and apples, so yes, I have my headphones on a lot!
I have 850+ songs on my iPod which is what I tend to listen to most. But I also listen to youtube and just pick my favorite artist. I'm going to a three day concert at the end of the month so I've started listening to the artists playing - Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, Randy Houser, Neil McCoy.

I hate radio commercials. Hate them. We have (commercial-free) Sirius in our cars and on our TV cable network. Driving I listen to Sirius 63, The Message. It calms me For housework I listen to 70s on 7 or 80s on 8. Those decades had some high-energy music.

I've been loving the Hamilton soundtrack. I mix it up. Today I'm fascinated by KPop play lists I'm playing off of Youtube.

I cannot focus if my music has lyrics. I alternate between the classical composers and film scores, my Pandora is commercial free and the film scores station has John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Klaus Badelt, etc. But I love sci-fi films so the music is like comfort music to me.

I listen to music when I'm really concentrating on something and don't need to also hold conversations with coworkers (there's a lot of collaboration on things so it's probably 50/50 on music or not). I have a ton of CDs ripped to my laptop that I listen to via iTunes, but most of the time I'm listening to the online radio station that my BFF and I operate (gotta drink your own Koolaid). It's stilettobroadcasting.com and we play mostly local (to Houston) artists.

I don't like working in silence so I have music on all day at work. I have Amazon Prime and love the Sara Bareilles station. It's just not her music but other artists like her.

When I have to FOCUS focus, I listen to instrumental music. Music with words is too much of a distraction. Usually, it is an assortment of classical music, sometimes it is soundtracks. My favorite movie soundtracks to listen to are Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl (the first one) and Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.
If you (or anyone else) is interested in my classical music list, I am happy to share, just let me know.
My MP3 player needs some updating in terms of putting new stuff on there but I never really think of it when I have the time, and never can remember what I wanted to buy!
