Just wondering if anyone has started to think about - or even make - Christmas cards yet... I don't usually start mine until early September but I have always had some idea brewing by now and I'm drawing a complete blank...

I've started to think about my potential designs, but haven't made any yet. And by 'think' about designs, I really mean I've been pinning ideas on Pinterest. LOL. What I have found interesting, is that many of the designs I like are very similar. I guess you could say I definitely see a style or theme emerging. I have purchased a few new embossing folders, rubber stamps and dies based on a few cards I really liked. I hope to make a few prototypes around the first of August, although that does sound crazy early, doesn't it!

I've got a ton of ideas pinned on Pinterest... but nothing is jumping out at me this year... and no, I don't think that making a few prototypes in August is at all too early! I never want to feel rushed when making my cards so I start early too!

I'm waiting for stamp companies to release their Christmas stamps and dies before putting together my list of card ideas. There's a couple left over from last year that I'll probably use this year and a couple designs I'll repeat but I need many more.

Mine are done. I just have to put mailing labels on them. I finished them up in March.
Ok, why March? Because I didn't want to spend my summer working on Christmas cards!!

I've been thinking about it for about a week now. I have a lot of house cleaning/organizing to do before I can give it more thought.

I got a SSS kit a couple of months ago with some cute winter designs from last year so I made a bunch of cards early, just for the fun of making some cards. I don't know if I'll use them or give them away though.

I've been buying up holiday collections from recent years so I have a nice stash to make cards from. The last couple of years I used the same collections, trying to use up as many bits and pieces as possible, so I'm ready for some "fresh" designs!

I'm just waiting for the Peas Annual Card Exchange so I can procrastinate and then make all the cards in a crazy week of crafting so they can be mailed by Dec 1st.

I finished mine a couple of weeks ago on my vacation at our cabin. That's when I usually do ours, while my husband is fishing.

I've been working on a Christmas project with some yummy Christmas papers and have been thinking of what I want to do for my cards this year. That's as far as I've gotten.... I usually don't start them until October-ish...

I love Christmas and I think Christmas product is my favourite to work on. I have started thinking about what I want to do. Last weekend I went thru all my Christmas stuff and reorganized it. I am trying to set up at date with a friend to get together to make Christmas cards. We were thinking two get togethers. First one is end of August and 2nd is looking like September.

I have made plans for my cards, and ordered the stamp - going to try something way different from my usual style. If it works out, I will make them for the family and pea swap
If it doesn't, I will have time to play around with another design
But, I usually make my cards in September/October

Yes, I bought two more Christmas sentiment stamps around January and bought Karen Burniston's Merry Christmas popup card die last month. I've made a few cards so far. I never make more than a few alike, I have so many Christmas dies and stamps and Christmas only comes once a year!

I usually start about this time so I can make about 150 cards for our swap and another 25 or so for friends and coworkers. I have a couple planned and will start this weekend

I've made one card so far. One. I planned to make a few every month starting in Feb/March but I've managed to make just one.
