Like a sunhat or baseball cap when outdoors for any length of time. I hate wearing hats winter or summer but I know I should and feel guilty when I don't.

I wear a ball cap at horse shows because I'm outside all day. Other than that, no. Even in the dead of winter I won't wear one.

Baseball cap at the beach or on bad hair days.

I like hats (not baseball caps) and actually look good in many. BUT, I would either have to leave it on all the time or not wear one. I own hats I never wear - just because I have super thick, curly hair and it either gets too hot under there or I take of the hat and look like an absolute mess.

No not out in the sun but I love cocktail hats and big brimmed dress hats and have been know to occasionally wear them. For some reason I don't like casual or sun hats.

I only wear a big floppy sun hat when we are out at the lake. Not really anytime else. My girls tease me that I look like I am going to the Kentucky Derby, but I have super sensitive eyes and fair skin. I have to do something!! Most of the time, that something is just refusing to go outside.

Yes Have a big floppy hat most times I am going to be outdoors for a while. Even just a trip to the park with my kids. I keep it in my car almost year round. If I remember I will even bring it to school when I sub and have to do duty after school or for PE.

When I'm at the beach or on the boat, yes, I wear a big floppy hat. I've been wearing them since I was a little kid at my mom's insistence.

I was going to say only in the winter (it gets REALLY cold here and I happen to like my ears, LOL). But upon thinking for a minute, I almost always wear a ball cap at the lake cabin when I'm outside too. While I'm not a huge fan of hats in general, I'm even less of a fan of the deer flies that like buzzing my head when I don't wear one!
I recently bought a buff from Duluth Trading that has built in UV protection and bug repellant. Needed something that would stay on when we're out on the jet skis because my hat blows off of my head.

Sometimes. If it is very hot at the beach, I wear one to protect my scalp. My hair apparently isn't thick enough to protect me. For my skin, I prefer sunscreen to a hat. I used to love hats and DH still likes to see me in them.

Yes if I am going to be in the sun. Me too. I usually wear a baseball cap several times a day: when I walk the dogs in the morning and everytime I take the dogs in the backyard to play. Also shopping if I have a bad hair day. I have a drawer full of baseball caps. I have to match my outfit you know.

Skin cancer runs in my family. Hats and sunscreen are my friends. I typically wear ball caps, but if I'm going to be out all day, I'll wear something with a wider, all-around brim.

I'm a hat girl. Not because of sun, because it's a rare occasion I am out in the sun for any length of time. I like them because they help camouflage my five-head. I have a very high hairline and no bangs, so I have a rather egg-shaped face.

Not so much. But I have a LARGE head and often don't fit. They look silly sitting "on top".

Since I had major MOHS surgery on my nose for basal cell this spring YES!! plus I have more spots to check now and one is on the top of my head.
I also hate hats. They make me sweaty and give me hat head. LOL. but the alternative is far worse. I went to a hat store and the lady helped me pick one that was right for my face. I feel a little "touristy" in it but it works.
Wear sunscreen and wear a hat. Particularly if you are fair. That's my PSA for today.

I hate wearing anything on my head and don't even like wearing a pony tail. But...sitting out at DD's soccer games, a day at Disneyland or the beach, yes, I wear a hat.

Yes, but only recently.
I bought a wide brimmed hat from Costco that's adjustable on the inside band and I wear that at the pool. I have a floppy canvas hat I wear when hiking. And I recently found a ball cap with a local sports team (sadly, not the losing SF Giants) that I wear to walk in or on bad hair days like today.
But hat or no hat, I always, always wear sunscreen on my face and neck.

Yes! I have lots of hats. I always wear one in the sun. I have baseball caps, floppy hats or the hats you can roll up and they unroll like a wide brimmed visor. I too keep one in the car so I can just pop into the park if I want to.
I've always been this way but much more militant after having some weird sun reaction while on antibiotics. They always warn you it could increase sensitivity and OUCH! It sure can. Hat, sunscreen, plus extra sunscreen. I don't need the pain or the wrinkles.

Not so much. But I have a LARGE head and often don't fit. They look silly sitting "on top". This my problem too!!! I've been looking for a straw hat that has a large brim to wear while I'm at the beach or on a boat. I had a really nice one that was rollable so I could pack it easily but I lost it on a trip. I wear a baseball cap when I really need the protection from the sun.

Yes I do. I don't like it but I could not keep getting burned on my scalp. I also like the coverage it gives my face.

When I'm traveling and it's humid or rainy, I was at a straw fedora. At Disneyworld, I wear a baseball hat. That's about it.

I never wear hats of any sort ... not even in the winter ... Same. Hats don't look good on me and they make your hair look bad when you take them off.

Very often in the winter, never in the summer. Sunscreen and sunglasses only, I just can't bear a hat on my head when it's hot. Not even a visor. They don't look good on me and I feel goofy.

Never. I don't even know the last time I owned a hat. And I do know that I stopped wearing them before I stopped owning any. Winter hats just pop off of my head or make my hair itch my face. My hair is thick, curly/wavy, and unruly, and it will not tolerate a winter hat. And since I tend to wear my hair up in the summer, hats become a nuisance. I wear sunblock and glasses in the summer and one of those fleece band things that go around your head in the winter. And I don't feel guilty about it at all.
