As much as I hate hats, I wear a ball cap if I am going to be outside for more than a few minutes. I am fair and burn easily.

I have a couple of wide brimmed hats for the beach and can't make it through a soccer game or hike/walk without a baseball cap.

I wore a hat constantly for 9 months during and after chemo. I like hats and am told they look good on me. When I go to the beach I wear a hat and also sit under an umbrella. I should be far better about protecting my skin from the sun though.

I have a big brimmed sun hat I take to the beach when we go on winter vacation. But I never wear a hat in the summer, they are so hot. I do put on sunscreen everyday. I have baseball style hats I will slip on if I have to run to the store and haven't done my hair. I wear toques in the winter to keep me warm.

Never in the winter, but always when it's sunny. Mostly for glare. I really can't stand the sun in my eyes. I wear sunglasses every time I set foot out of my house and will never own a car w/a sunroof. It's just a bonus that I get sun protection from them, lol.

I wear a baseball cap or bucket hat anytime I'm outside for any length of time like at Disneyland, beach etc.

Yes I do. Between the glare and the harmful rays I am usually wearing a hat or visor if I'm outside.

Yes, I wear a hat in the spring, summer and fall. I had surgery for basal cell twice, once on the top of my head and once under my left eye.

I have lots of hats. Garden hat. Breezer for hiking in the sun. Boonie for hiking in the rain. Knit cap for xc skiing, plus a bunch of headband ear-warmer types. Couple of baseball caps and visors round out the collection.

If I'm going outside in the summer - yes. UV levels are extremely high in New Zealand - it usually only takes 10 mins to burn. I also like to protect my hair because it's coloured! So I often wear a hat in the winter as well if I'm doing the gardening,
I wear a running cap year-round because it works against sun and rain. And if it's really cold in the winter, I might dig out a wool beret.

Absolutely. I wear a baseball hat quite often, and I also have some big brimmed hats and visors that I wear at the pool/beach.

Not so much. But I have a LARGE head and often don't fit. They look silly sitting "on top". My head isn't big around, but I often wear patrol caps which have a pretty wide range of adjustment in the back. Maybe you could try one of those!

I wear a visor if I'm going to be In the sun for an extended period of time. Hats in the heat of summer make me sweat.

Rarely...hats and bangs don't work well together. I know what you mean. I never know where to "put" my bangs under a hat. I wear either a ball cap or straw hat when at the beach or a pool for the day. I never wear a ball cap any other time. I do have a few tea party type straw hats and I love the way they look, but it seems there's never really an appropriate occasion to wear them. I rarely ever wear a hat in the winter unless engaging in a winter sport activity.

Yes, all the time in summer if I'm going to be in the sun. AND I've got a fringe (or "bangs" as you like to call them).

I recently bought a buff from Duluth Trading that has built in UV protection and bug repellant. Needed something that would stay on when we're out on the jet skis because my hat blows off of my head. When you have a moment, do you think you could link up to that, please? I don't typically wear a hat unless I am trying to keep biting insects away from my head, or to keep my hair from smelling like campfire smoke.

I bought one for my DD too. So far the times I've worn it it seemed to help with keeping the bugs away. Either that or I've been really lucky!

I love hats and they suit me. But my hair objects. It's very thick and quite curly, and it just pushes most hats straight off as soon as I move my head. In addition, my hearing is bad enough without a hat but with one on, I can't hear a thing.
So unfortunately not, I just suffer with hat envy!

The last time I wore a hat it blew off and I had to chase it so no more hats for me!

No, can't stand hats on my head. I do have a big head and a lot of hats don't fit right. I get really bad "hat hair" and I also sweat badly around my hairline so that makes it even worse.
In the winter I will ear earmuffs and pull up a hood on my coat if I'm out shoveling snow or on bus duty when it's really cold or windy, but I still don't wear an actual hat.
I don't really spend time at beaches or pools, and don't have kids so I'm not sitting at soccer or baseball fields either.

A knit hat if I remember in winter because I get headaches if the top of my ears get too cold.
I was recently looking for a baseball type hat but I don't want one with a stupid logo on it ( hey you like the blah blah blah team, me too. No I just liked the colors!)

Almost never, much to my DH's dismay. I have several, but I don't love them. Ball caps don't fit right, and other hats are more of a bother than help.

I do I actually like hats and when I was a little person we wore hats on Easter. I wear a sun hat during the summer I have very fair skin and I burn like the Scots Irish English person I am I wear baseball caps for a walk with the dogs or during training and I have a sun hat that I wear on longer sun days I have wool winter hats that I wear at winter outdoor shows and occasionally to church though there is only one other lady that wears a hat to church

I think hats are a good idea but I never remember to grab one in the summer, and I can't stand the static and hat head that knit hats cause in the winter. So I rarely if ever wear them.

Hats make my hair sweat so I don't wear it daily. But always wear one at the beach. I just bought this one.
