Unless she is dressing in a bikini or a tube top on the campaign trail, her wardrobe choice is irrelevant. My own mother was an over-50 woman in government and rocked the pantsuit like there was no tomorrow. I don't know how much she paid for each pantsuit but they weren't cheap. She earned a healthy six-figure income and could afford to dress well and professionally so she did. Seriously. Can we please stfu about her pantsuits, hairstyle, wrinkles, and every other thing that has nothing to do with her experience or ability to govern? but it is okay to discuss trumps hair, the fact that he looks like grumpy cat, and a bunch of his other flaws? No that's not ok either and your point is well taken. I guess, for me, it's particularly irritating because it smacks of that thing women do in knocking each other down and judging each other for their appearance rather than their intellect and the content of their character. So I avoid that because we have enough history of being objectified. We don't need to do it to each other.

I have to say, I like that she wears color. I had some political news thing on the other night and the men had purple ties. I thought 'yay, not that I don't like red or blue, but I'm happy to see something different'. Then, I realized red and blue make purple - haha. Anyways, I've sewn and tailored most of my life. I know her suits are custom and fabric high end. My biggest issue is they poorly fit her body and it has to be uncomfortable for her. I watch her raise her arm to wave and I know she has to be aware of it riding up and bunching across her body. A different cut to the armhole would solve the issue. To have a solid color from neck to ankles (including the buttons) is something very few people would look good in according to fashion standards, but I know many people like and feel confident in that style. I always think how you feel in your own clothing is the only thing that matters. I think men's 'political fashion' does not have as wide a range to choose from as a woman does. I love that women have way more choices! However, your style and the way clothes fit are two very different things. I remember people commenting (and bashing) on Barbara Bush's dresses, white hair, and pearls. I loved her look because it reminded me of my Grandmother. Everyone has an idea of what they like, which is why the fashion industry is as big as it is. I also saw something on IG today - "You can't please everyone. You are not a taco." It made me think of this board!

I'm sorry, I can't believe she actually pays $1400 for those frumpy pantsuits that look like they come from Walmart. She needs a fashion consultant and dress appropriately for a woman of her position/government. She is representing the United States, for goodness sake. She also needs to keep her hair colored and see not see wisps of gray coming in. I flinch every time I see her on TV.

I don't care how much she spends on them, but the pink one she was wearing today made her look like she was in a chef competition
