Seeing other threads referencing expensive shipping and I've passed on a few things, because of the cost of shipping. Where do you find your best shipping deals?

Are you domestic or international?
I order from ACOT frequently and 5 pound boxes run me around 9 bucks.
Paper issues is another comparable.

I have shopped at blue moon, and paper issues. Always have great experience with paper issues. She is super fast, and gives a discount.

I wait for a 20% discount on my entire purchase, including shipping, at ACOT.
I don't have a LSS anywhere near me, so I just deal with it.

I usually save things up and order from ACOT when they have this discount, too. They also have a good shipping discount with $60 purchase. But even for small orders, my shipping is often only about $4. Scrapbook.com and Simon Says Stamp also have periodic discounts. I placed a SSS order last week with 25% off on Ranger products. I'm taking Tim Holtz's Creative Chemistry 103 starting in August, so I'm stocking up on various papers and media. I paid $7 for shipping but my discount was $20.

Can any Canadian peas comment on ACOT? I've never ordered from them... My go to is SSS but I've been looking at ACOT recently and am curious about shipping rates, times, duty, etc.

I used to shop at ACOT and they totally gouge you on international shipping. I won't buy from them any longer. I have had it and am done. I used to spend at least $500 per trade show on stuff and when they raised their shipping prices again I said forget it. I will live without whatever it is.
They have 20% off everything which is just their inflated price. You can't use your rewards points like you used to and honestly I have better things to do with my money. I give them a thumbs down now.

A Cherry On Top: www.acherryontop.com/I can't help with the questions above you, though. I'm sorry. For the US buyers, I can tell you that ACOT is in Michigan, so obviously the further out you are, the higher the shipping ends up being for most packages (because of the priority mail zones).
