So sorry to hear this. It's hard to lose a pet, and even harder to have to make that decision. Hugs....

This likely triggered the loss of Fred. ((((HUGS)))). Just remember that if you grieve your beloved dog no one will think you value your dog's life over a human life. You just cannot compare. These are totally different types of grief. I am so sorry for you and your children.

She may have been a barking, poop eater. But, she was your barking, poop eater...a family member.
((((Hugs)))) I'm sorry for your loss.

I am so, so sorry. Pets are family you buy. They matter. I don't know how hectic things are for you right now, but maybe a new pup or rescue sooner than later might be good. Dogs know how to fill a void.

So often doing the right thing is so darned difficult. May you find comfort in memories of Daisy. She's running pain free now. {{{hugs}}} for all of you.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Daisy and for all of the memories I'm sure it has triggered. Daisy felt your love and comforting presence as she fell asleep. What a kind and loving friend you were to her.
Sending hugs to you and your children. I'm just terribly sorry.

Oh my gosh! I am so sorry for this and everything else you have had to deal with. Losing a pet is horrible but coupled with everything else I just can't imagine. Please accept my sincere sympathies and kind wishes for you and your family.
If it's any consolation you sound like an amazingly strong person and you have a great perspective on life. Just be sure to take time for yourself and not focus solely on what others need.

I'm so sorry. It just seems like too much and so unfair for you and your family. I have a dog named Daisy and she's cute but stupid too! I also lost a dog to cancer...my first dog named Pepper and she was only 5 years old when she died. We were advised to put her to sleep, but my parents were on vacation at the time. Thankfully, she passed away on her own before they returned (so we didn't have to make that decision). It still makes me sad to this day.
((HUGS))

I'm so sorry. It just wasn't your week or mine. My loving rescue dog passed on Monday. I cried like a baby; he passed away in the 15 minutes between my girlfriend's daughter leaving for work and me arriving at his side.
Hugs to you and your family.

I am so sorry. I lost one of my dogs to cancer a few months after I lost my dad to cancer. It sparked another round of intense grieving for my dad. I was pretty surprised by it. But in a few days, I was relatively ok again. I hope things go as smoothly as can be hoped for you. Yeah I was like, where did this come from? I'm sorry that was your experience too.

Dogs know how to fill a void. Thanks but now is not a good time for a new pet. Dd asked for a puppy for her birthday. I have enough on my plate right now, I can't take responsibility for a pet. We do have another dog.

I'm so sorry about Daisy. It's so hard to lose a pet anyway, but you're also still dealing with the loss of Fred barely a year ago, plus the current stresses you mentioned. Be gentle with yourself.

Financially and mentally my kids have to be my priority. Plus I'll admit I'm thinking "I'll be darned if I bring home a dog "cured" of cancer when I couldn't do it for my husband. 😔 I hear you loud and clear. Hugs to you and yours. SaveSave
