I think also it's the time of the year for me...summer almost over, trying to sell our home, having over 100 layouts done with NO PHOTOS (ya think!) I just like to create.lol. Really the biggest is my mood!! I can get depressed real easily if there is no sun.....

Time. Other hobbies. Family obligations. School.
Right now, I am being a complete sloth. I could be scrappin'. But, if I'm going to be in the crafting area, I should be sewing a few things. They need done by Tuesday. Instead, I'm avoiding my crafty area altogether.
When I learned to knit recently, I discovered that it relieved the pain in my hands from the Fibro. So, most likely, I will opt to knit. Scrapping is hampered by the pain in my hands.
Another thing I should be doing is getting ready for class Monday. I've got classes 5 days a week this semester.
Even though I know I have things that I should accomplish today, I've been vegging out in front of the television with NCIS and surfing the web.

Time. There just aren't enough hours in my day. So. Something's gotta give. But we started homeschooling oldest DS this year- so that's a great reason for be to pull a few things out to teach him various techniques.
I miss creating, but without a dedicated space, it takes just as much time cleaning up a project as it does creating it.
One day I'll get back to it, though in some form or fashion.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

I feel like when I have the time available, I just want to crash on the couch and watch TV. Takes a lot more energy to go to the craft room and get creative. Pure laziness is what holds me back! Yep....I can relate to this one 100%! AND even more silly is that I have a nice flat screen TV with cable in my scrap room. WHAT IS MY PROBLEM? When I go to retreats, I LOVE to scrapbook...so why not in my nice studio? I am having a friend come for several wonderful, scrap dedicated days in just a couple weeks! I even debated about setting us up in the den rather than my studio! HUH? The light is better in my studio, so what is my issue with scrapbooking in the setting DESIGNATED for it? I did finally decide that I'll set us up in there, so hopefully, that will get me back in the mode of relaxing by being creative instead of vegging in my chair in front of the TV with a bag of chips or something! (I also eat a lot less when scrapbooking! Another bonus!) Is it awful to say I am actually feeling better that I'm not the only studio-avoider out there?

The biggest thing holding me back, is that I like to scrapbook when I am alone. So that means when DH is at work or sleeping. Luckily, he works some Sundays and he goes to bed pretty early because of his work schedule. Unfortunately, I am frequently really tired after work, dinner, and evening routine to really get some good scrapping time in.

For me it's my dirty and unorganized room and stuff. It's something I'm working on!

tI go through feast or famine with my scrapping. If I'm in the mood that will last a couple of months and I will crank out as many layouts as possible. after that I'm done for a while. I returned to school in January so that's my excuse for now. The minute I was done with the semester I started scrapping and have almost 20 layouts done!
