I have bought different coffee mugs over the years from Pier One. I love having a different mug everyday. I choose based on how I'm feeling that morning. It would be hard for me to pick a favorite though. I like them all for different reasons.

My husband can't seem to pass a coffee mug and not want to buy it. We seriously have coffee cups from all over the world.
I make him crazy because my favorite coffee cup, a large cup from McDonalds! He has tried buying me "real" cups like them, and I'll use it until I hit McDonalds again.

My favorite mug is white with a cat that looks like it stuck its tail in an electric outlet. The wording say "I am perfectly calm". I always smile when choosing that mug to use. My next favorite is an advertising mug from Charlottesville, VA. Shows an unshaven guy in his robe holding a cuppa joe. Says Wilson's Wakeup Service WINA AM 1070.
If I were looking for a new favotite mug I'd go to Pier One.

This is my favorite. It's big and has a large handle. It fits on my coffee warmer as well!  |

I like this question! A few months ago the same thing happened to me. I broke the handle off my fave mug -- a Disneyland 40th anniversary print mug. I almost cried. I replaced it with a cool Starbux one that is kind of earth colored with debossef leaves on it. It's cute but kind of heavy.

I have two....my favorite at home is a mug bought for me on Mother's Day at Caribou Coffee that says "Super Mom" and the other is the one I keep at my desk that is the Monogram Mug mug from Anthropologie. |
