I bought my very first pair of Airwalks because my son has worn them for years and swears they are the MOST comfortable shoes ever. I bought the cutest pair of canvas slipons in grey at Payless. I wore them 4 times and they started to come apart . The sole is peeling away from the shoe. Since I already threw the receipt away I contacted Airwalk directly. They don't answer their phone. You get an automated answer and when you try to get to customer service it just rings and rings, then routes you back to the auto answer. No receptionist, no voice mail. NOTHING. I emailed them and got a response telling me there is nothing they can do and I need to contact Payless. I am so disappointed because these shoes are so cute and sooooo comfortable. Too bad they have such horrible customer service! So what are your suggestions for cute, comfortable inexpensive canvas slip ons?

I'd take them back to Payless anyway if I'd only worn them 4 times.
Doesn't hurt to try.

Post something on their Facebook page. That might get their attention.

Did you buy them with a credit card?

I think payless has a satisfaction guarantee, so I'd try for remedy with them.

Aren't they a brand that is only sold at Payless? I would go directly back to Payless. I've had converse knock-off Airwalks for years and they should last longer than 4 uses!

Post something on their Facebook page. That might get their attention. Unfortunately, they have the page set so you can't post comments

Did you buy them with a credit card? No. I paid with my debit card and threw the receipt away after I had them a week.

I think they are sold elsewhere as well. I know Airwalk sells them online. I had to exchange DSs shoes at Payless that started to crack after about 3 weeks and didn't have the receipt and the proces was PAINFUL. it involved 3 store employees including the store manager and took about 35 minutes. I really wanted to avoid going back to the store if at all possible. I guess i will will try taking them back after work tonight and see what happens.

Take them back to Payless. They will exchange them without a receipt and return them to the vendor.

I'd take them back to Payless. They might offer receipt look up on your debit card or at least offer you a store credit.

I'd take them back to Payless. They might offer receipt look up on your debit card or at least offer you a store credit. You should also be able to pull up your bank statement with the Payless transaction on it. That should help with Payless.

That sucks I bought my girls Airwalks from Payless last year. Those things lasted only a few wearings before the soles started peeling off. Even though they weren't that expensive I expected more. Never again.
