Good morning Ladies. I was able yesterday to find the energy to finish the two pages that were on my counter: topsy turvey by Gramma Dee, on Flickr topsy turvey 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Today I woke up with a little more energy. That happens when you actually sleep all night, I guess. I have lots of housework to do today, but decided to spend the time while dh was in town for coffee to put together a few Christmas cards. These were pretty quick. Used card bases, foiled vellum cutaparts from BoBunny "Merry & Bright", and a few of my dies and embossing folders. 2016 M&B 1 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr 2016 M&B 2-5 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This evening, dh and I will be going to friends' house to play cards. Hope to get the laundry done by then. But might need a nap before supper. Have a great Wednesday, Ladies!

nylene Those Paperkins are so cute. I don't remember them from before, but they remind me of my Cricut paper dolls cartridge. Great double pagers grammadee and scrapincin . LisaDV I love your fall index cards. They are so pretty. I will try and leave some love in the gallery. Thank you all for the love you've been leaving on my layouts. I appreciate it so much. Last night I voted in our municipal election, weighed in at my TOPS meeting, discussed Serena at my book club, and did a digital layout. So busy. Here are a few of my latest pages.

My computer didn't arrive today and this one is really acting up. It is supposed to come tomorrow while we are gone. It will be Monday at the earliest that we can get it and get it set up. I will probably not be able to post a new November thread until Doug gets me all set up next week. So please just add on to this thread until I can do that. We will be back by Sunday, but I won't be able to be on for a while. Have a great weekend, all you Pokeys. (except justjac who is a Speedy Pea)

Good Friday morning Ladies.
I am slowly integrating back into home life. Actually started the laundry yesterday. Went to town for lasagna supplies (for Sunday supper), got my flu shot. Last night was the monthly pancake supper at dh's Seniors' club, so we went to that and then stayed to play cards. Actually, dh played cards and I helped my niece who had come for supper then decided to stay to play but had never played that game before.
This morning a neighbour called to say they would like to drop in for coffee, so in a few minutes I have to hit the kitchen and dining room HARD. I am not the tidiest person at the best of times, and dh has been here alone for a month before I got back, so use your imagination...
Craftwise, I completed a couple more cards yesterday. And this morning--before the phone call--I had started to flip through my Christmas card supplies, thinking about ideas for how to use them for cards. Have yet to pull out all my Christmas themed dies and stamps. Doesn't help that I lent a bunch of them to my niece while I was gone, and now can't remember a) do I actually OWN a particular item? b) if I DO own it, did I hand it over to her, or is it here? and c)if it is here, where the H*** is it???
Part of me wants to be efficient and take the easy way. Part of me wants to play with stencils and inks and sprays and molding paste and... Don't quite have the energy yet for THAT part of me, so simple it is for awhile I think.
But first: the Twenty Minute Tidy!!!! (Well when I was younger it was 20 minutes. Might take me an hour or more now.)
Have a good day, Ladies!

Good evening friends! Well I am sitting here watching baseball and make icicles for my DD 's Christmas tree. Not getting any scrapping done I did get my Christmas cards finished last night-stamped the sentiments inside so they are ready to sign and mail! The Indians are leading 1-0. These games are really going to be low scoring with this I also think I am caught up in the gallery if I missed something let me know. grammadee- I get tired reading what you do in a small amount of time! No wonder you and Justjac get along so well.you are like lightening bolts! Hope to get some scrapping done tomorrow! I will check in.

Good Saturday morning! My sleeping patterns have finally coordinated with the time zone I am in. Consequently I slept all night and am feeling pretty rested this morning. scrapincin , I find it funny that you think I am so productive. I have no scheduled work these days, I don't keep the dgk's after school like you do, and I tend to ignore housework until I have an absolute need to do it. Lots of days I barely move at all! This morning, I sorted through my "FALL" supplies and divided them between two iris cases: a small one for Halloween and a larger one for general fall and Thanksgiving. I wanted to get all of those in one place so I could start my 30 Days of Gratitude journal on Tuesday. Now that I found everything, I may do the title page today. No pressure. Making homemade bean soup for supper. The beans are soaking and the pork hocks are thawed, so well on the way. Will need to add the ingredients to the bread maker for a fresh loaf to go with the soup. Since I have come home, I have been making all my favorite comfort foods, and this was one to cross off that list. Have a great day, Ladies!

Hi all, I see lots of wonderful layouts and cards that I need to go leave love on. grammadee, so sorry about your brother, but it's good to see your name around the forum!! nylene, hope you have a good weekend trip and that your new computer gets set up quickly. scrapincin, you know we aren't into sports in my house. But we love to go to games. DS first baseball game was the Cubs, thus his team. DD first baseball game was the Indians, thus her team. It's quite funny. I'd wish your team luck, but we lived within walking distance of Wrigley before kids, so I'm a Cubs fan. We used to walk up and see games often. Yesterday, I finished my swap items. I have a double page layout due in January. I know what I'm doing so it's good. But I'm breaking from crafting for cleaning, school, cleaning, other activities, and cleaning. So I might be just responding by hitting the like button over this next month or so instead of in-depth responses, but I will try to keep up.

I haven't been keeping up very good. I have been busy with work but on a little vacation now. Next week, I go on a 3 day crop with a girlfriend! I can't wait!! I hope everyone is doing good! I hope to check in more while I am on vacation. Good to hear from you! Hope you have a restful vacation after being so busy. Hoping everyone is having a relaxing Sunday. I spent today making two big pans of lasagna from scratch. Used up a lot of tomatoes from the garden that had ripened up in the basement while I was gone. We invited some people for supper, and after sending home left overs, I have one big pan left. Wrapped it up in foil and found room for it in the freezer. It will find its way to a pot luck or family gathering some time this winter. While the tomatoes were cooking, and again when the lasagna was baking, I watched some curling on TV. My favorite mens' and ladies' teams were playing in the finals, but sadly, they both managed to lose, so not that enjoyable an experience for me. The only crafty thing I did today was put together a title page for my 30 days of Thankful album. I want to spritz it with some paint and let it dry before I photograph it. Hope to do the spritzing this evening. But first, off to do dishes...

Jana! ( knutschen ) it's so nice to hear from you. I hope you have a great vacation. I hope it is very restful! You look great without your glasses. Do you not need them at all now? It looks like it will be Wednesday before Doug can get my computer up and running. He's trick-or-treating tonight with Alex and tomorrow he is helping Em set up for a big Church banquet. It's pretty bad when I have to share him with his family! LOL! So I am limping along with my old computer til then. It is so slow that I can click on something and then go do a chore while I'm waiting for it to come up. This thread is officiallly closed. The new November thread can be found here. 2peasrefugees.boards.net/thread/51282/pokey-peas-refugees-challenge-november
