There are a lot of bigger fish to fry, but I put on a lipstick the other day that seemed to magnify the yellow tint in my teeth into something almost fluorescent. ugh.
I have tried the expensive molds with bleaching gel from the dentist - $700 bucks (!!!) and I couldn't use it due to sensitive gums.
I have really crooked teeth on the bottom but they don't show when I smile, but I've avoided trying Crest white strips as I've heard they don't stick well to uneven teeth and then you end up with mottled tooth color...
I have never tried coconut oil plus baking soda to whiten, not sure if that is even "a thing." Any ideas for me?
Thanks!~

Did you try shortening the amount of time the gel is on your teeth, or trying a gentler gel with less peroxide? It will take longer of course, but might be worth it.

I've been swishing with peroxide before brushing with baking soda & regular toothpaste. That seems to work pretty well for me when my teeth are stained up from a lot of coffee or red wine. I've also done the oil pulling with coconut oil, but I didn't notice much of a difference in whiteness from that.

Zoom worked well, but wasn't long lasting. I always use Crest Professional WhiteStrips.

I just swish it around a few times and spit (like you would mouthwash). "They" say to dilute it 50/50 with water, but I don't.

i used the white strips. I don't leave them on for the full hour because of sensitivity. It works for me. They do nothing for my husband's teeth.

I drink a lot of strong coffee and red wine. Like a PP, swish peroxide and water in my mouth before brushing. I do it about 3 times a week. I leave the mixture about 3 minutes in my mouth, though, and dilute it more, perhaps 1/4. I fill my mouth with as much as I can so I'm sure it's touching my upper teeth.

No, I have the kind you have to get from a dentist. I won them in a silent auction.

I have very crooked bottom teeth and i haven't noticed variant coloring using the strips. They work well to whiten, but for me the white doesn't last long. I wish there was some kind of sealant that could protect against tea stains.

I've tried turmeric. It may have made a tiny difference but not enough to overcome the mess. EVERYTHING turned yellow. The sink, my hands, my expensive sonicare toothbrush. It wasn't worth it. I have had some luck with activated charcoal, but it's also a little messy and it only lasts a few days before i tea stain my teeth again.

I use a Qtip and swab my teeth with 40 vol., front and back, before I brush. I let it sit for about thirty seconds then brush with toothpaste leaving the peroxide to minge with the toothpaste. I do that most days. When I first started doing it I would let it sit on my teeth longer. Once they whitened up I just swab them down before brushing and they stay really white. I don't have sensitive gums so it doesnt bother my mouth.

I can't help on the actual whitening products (I have veneers and so can't use any of that) but try looking for a lipstick with a blue undertone. Alternatively, you could try something like this. The blue is supposed to create an optical illusion that your teeth are whiter.

Is Airflow stain removal available in the US? My friend had this done and I'm thinking of having a bash myself. Costs around £65.00.
