there are several of us who are in touch with her husband off the board and after talking with him about their needs, we have been helping as we are able. If this is something you feel moved to help with as well, please message me here or email at jsarbee@gmail.com or you can also message
pinkprincess77 (here) or email at pinkprincess77@me.com OR scrappammie (here) or email at t2herrick@yahoo.com OR Mimima (here) pudgygroundhog (here) lovetodigi (here) or email at jw2.ga5@gmail.com LBrock44 (here) or email at lbrockway@gmail.com Imagine747 (here) - the pea formerly known as I-95
We can then provide you with the direct contact information for how to help. This donation is directly to Beth & her family so that is why we do not want to post the contact information on an open, public forum.
Because I know how things like this have gone in the past, I want to stress that neither Beth nor her husband have asked for this. There have been so many people praying for, thinking of and asking about her that I decided it is worth the risk of ugliness or suspicion to share this here in the event that anyone wants to do something more for her. Her husband has not been working as he is her full time caregiver so this has been a significant strain on their family.
ETA: I have been adding additional names as points of contact who you can message or email other than me. They are all in touch with Beth's husband as well and have the same information.
ETA2: For International peas who post when most of us in the US are sleeping, Imagine747 (formerly I-95) is going to be online during those hours so you should send PMs about this to her.
And a very sincere thank you to everyone who has responded. The peas are amazing.

I am not in contact with her at all, so I was really hoping someone who was would do this! Thank you so much for putting this out there! This is what community is all about. (Now I must figure out how to message you here!)

That's so hard. I don't know what I can do other than some sort of Jamberry fundraiser, but we all know how well those go around here. A lot of drama, so I'll reluctantly suggest that. But I'd be happy to do one if anyone is open.

I don't think there would be anything wrong with a fundraiser as long as you're okay to handle the details. If you decide to do it, I'll send you the contact info for direct donations. I would also participate because I've been eyeing up those nail wraps!

I'm going to echo Sarah, and reiterate that inviting you to help Beth is based entirely on the outpouring of requests for information and not at the behest of the family.
Sometimes Peas have been skeptical, contentious, divisive or derisive over the many issues and causes that were raised on NSBR. The banal could quickly become a powder keg. And yet, Peas could also come together and show great compassion. Offering good thoughts, prayers, and support for those who were in need - that is when we truly triumphed.
I know that some of you, without hesitation, will ask what you can do for Beth. Will offer and send help. Some of you will hesitate, will doubt motivations, perhaps even cast aspersions. I would simply ask that you remember where our strength lies.
Beth is one of ours.

Sending a message as Beth lives in my community and it still pains me that I missed visiting her in the hospital last week. I am available for home drops/deliveries. I am just so heart-broken over this. I remember when she used to visit our store years ago. Anyhow also feel free to message me as well.

We all know that a lot of donation requests on 2Peas have not ended well, but in this case, I think Beth has been a Pea for eons. People know her, and they also know she has been fighting this battle with cancer for some time. From the list of contacts to handle donations I see some long time Peas so I can't imagine why anyone would think it's a scam.
I'm in.

I will also add that if people are giving with an expectation to get any acknowledgement, then don't give. Beth and her husband are good people, but I wouldn't expect a thank you(just saying this because I know people were upset in the past when they didn't receive a thank you until it was brought up on the board. Maybe that situation was different, though).

I think most folks understand that concept.

I'm friends on facebook with her and have kept up with the updates. I know she'd cringe about us posting this here. I also know that things are looking bad and her husband could really use the help, even if Beth would like taking it. I am of course in.

I want to emphasize this, although from the messages so far, I think you all understand. Her husband has already expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of love, support and messages that you all have extended towards Beth. I think he was completely unprepared for the force that is the peas. But as Imagine 747 said, his focus and energy right now is on her, as it should be. Although I have no way of knowing who chooses to help, please accept MY heartfelt thanks.

Was it her cousin who was wondering if we wanted to give Beth a spa day or something like that a while ago? I gave then. If I were in a position to help again I would. Anything to easy what she and her DH are going through. I can just pray that her time left with her family is wonderfully memorable and she know that they as well as all of us love her and care about her.
We love you BethAnn. Hugs from all of us!!!
