I'm in so Cal. I would be more than happy to pack up my lawn mower and drive over to do their yard work if they need it! I always try to think of something concrete to do to help and that's what I've come up with so far. I can help with anything! Just let me know...

Just curious why the PayPal is a big secret that has to be private messaged, yet people's sales links can be posted? Genuinely don't understand.
I would think it would be most helpful to have it posted for anyone who wants to donate anonymously (& not get into a pm-ing thing)
Who owns the PayPal account? Is it directly to the husband?
I think more info would alleviate concerns people might have based on past experiences..We all know BETH's situation is different, but don't knwo who is actually handling the PayPal... and how many hands are in it (with all of the offers of "sales" proceeds from other people's dealings), you know?

This is a direct donation - there is no middleman, so that is reason the information is being shared in private messages. The only reason why there are several points of contact is because one person can't be online 24/7. I can be online, pretty much, all day because my job doesn't care what I do as long as my work gets done, and it does. However, other people don't have that luxury or they are dealing with kids, etc.

For the life of me, I can't understand what harassment could come from stating on the board who's screen name is handling the Paypal, or if it is even going directly to them? You can see why someone could have an issue with this. Yes the itself cause used is a worthy one, but the questions are valid and vague enough that not answering just draws more as to if it will actually end up in the right place. |

There are no intermediaries receiving the money and paying them out to her. The money is going directly to her. Her personal email is linked to the PayPal account. |

None of us are handling the Paypal directly. Just providing the information so people can give directly to Beth and her family. Money goes straight to them. We are just providing a buffer given privacy issues in the past and the wishes of those involved.
Seriously, it's okay to not give and just move on.
