One of your fellow peas dropped me a nice PM over on SplitCoastStampers, and suggested I might find a happier online crafting home over here, and so far looks pretty promising. So hi. I'm 'Bri; unapologetically pragmatic, practical, thrift-wise and 'too-dang-old-for-nonsense'. Scrapbooking never really caught my attention and the few cards I make are usually due to an abundance of leftovers, but I adore die-cuts and paper piecing with a hefty side-order of just about every other kind of related craft you can shake a stick at.

Hi, I’m completely new!  I started scrapping as a child in the mid 90s (following in my mom’s footsteps) but tapered off in my teens and 20’s as I picked up different hobbies. I have done only a handful of pages since then... until I had my first baby last year and my interest in scrapbooking rekindled! So I found the peas in a google search, while trying to figure out what’s new in the world of scrapbooking. I don’t recognize most of the brands anymore, new techniques+terms, and tools! So I have been lurking for a few days and 2peas seemed like a really nice group. Right now I’m working on an 8x8 baby book which is finally almost done. We’re also expecting next year now so I will have another to do soon too.  |

Oops, guess I should have introduced myself first! I am Jack of All Crafts, because I do about every craft known to mankind and some that aren't! (For example, who here knows what scherenschnitte is? Well, I do!) I work mostly in paper crafts and needle crafts, but I love to sew as well and I can swing a hammer with the best of 'em. This site has already inspired me to start layer stamping and has already caused me to spend money. I hope my membership here doesn't cause me to go broke from enabling, lol. So anyway, hi and thanks for the great information you have already imparted!
