I know I struggle with anxiety but I cant figure this one out. I could paper craft. Read. Surf the web. Watch tv. Clean. Organize. Do a project. But I am not doing anything because there are too many things I want to do. Just pick one you say?? Why yes that sounds logical. However I am frozen with anxiety over choosing. Ugh. And all if the above will help ease the anxiety. I think I just waste time on this cycle when i should just pick one and jump off the cycle!!

Anxiety is so awful. I hate to always go straight to medication--but are you taking anything for it? I started two anti-anxiety meds in the spring and I have a MUCH easier time getting things done and sticking to a plan. I think when you get that frozen, you need something to help you break the ice, so to speak, whether that's therapy or meds.
If you don't want to try either of those, then perhaps journaling or making a list? You could set a timer and do each thing on your list for 15 minutes or 30 minutes or whatever, and then move on to the next.

I know how you feel. And don't really have any miraculous suggestions, sorry.
But if you're up for it, put on some comfortable shoes and go for a 10 minute walk. When you get back you'll either have a bit more direction, or you won't, but the exercise is good for you anyway.
Breathe. I hope it passes soon.

Yes a walk would be good. Maybe i will stick my head out the door and see what the temp is. Heat is yucky.

If it helps, you're not alone. I have a TON of schoolwork to do, need to wash clothes for work, bought new beads for a bracelet idea I have, and a new book waiting for me to read. I don't even have the energy to go sleep. Meh.
I hope you get unfrozen soon!

That's classic anxiety, for sure. Hope it helps to know you aren't alone. Exercise and meditation sometimes help me.

Sometimes I just have to say to myself, outloud, JUST DO SOMETHING! START SOMEWHERE! And then make myself pick an activity.
If you are frequently stymied about which activity to do, would it help to write them each on a card and fold 'em up and put them in a hat and pick one?

Chose to watch an epi with hubby. Now sleep. It does help to know others feel this, however i wish it would go away for everyone!!
