I scrapbook all over the house. I like to be where my family is, so mobile is best. I brought out a few things to scrap in our family room on Wednesday night while my family watched TV and it was great. I didn't think I'd be able to scrap lounging on the couch but I ended up scrapping a two page layout. I always thought I needed everything at my fingertips but now I know I don't.

I worked on November and December layouts last night. Now I can do journaling for 10 layouts and some need titles that I'll cut on my Silhouette or find Thickers to match. I thought it was a huge goal to finish all 12 layouts this month but they're actually coming together quickly. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a little time for journaling and titles but I have a busy weekend ahead of me so I'm not sure. Is anyone scrapping this weekend? You really can get a lot done by doing things in batches. I do them a litttle differently. I lay things out in batches but then work on each page individually. I then sew all the pages in batches so I can slip the layouts in the albums. I do something related to scrapbooking most days. Even if it's fussy cutting during a tv show. I need to keep my hands busy. I travel with scrapbook stuff, too. I need something to do in down time. I've learned to bring very little though. Today I will do the page for 30 days of thankful and layout my next batch of pages. I'm still working on a trip to the cosmosphere that my sisters family took, but I'm changing kits for the next batch. Between my Rocket Age (October Afternoon) kit and this kitschy space collection (oriental trading company) we found in Tulsa at a LSS yard sale, I can do all the pages in an over the top, eclectic way.

I have completed the October and November calendar pages. Need to print some pics for the cover page. (Thought I had them printed--and they may actually be in this room at this moment--but decided the time taken to search was draining my mojo, so I will print them "again").
Six more Christmas cards this morning. Got brave and used black card bases with CB "Special Delivery" elements. I kind of like the results.
Also finished a Gratitude journal page for tomorrow's prompt.
Now I am baking and I can feel the need for a nap coming on, so don't think there will be much crafting done around here the rest of the day.

I support naps!
I put together and printed all the weekly title cards for the rest of the year for my PL album (I've been using a digital 2016 PL calendar kit for the cards and customising the floral element on it for each month). It's been an exhausting week at work and it was all I could manage last night but I'm ready to print out some photos, just as soon as I step away from these boards...

I'm in cleaning mode. However, it's only been a week since my last crafty endeavor, and I'm already starting to have withdrawal symptoms. That could be the sickness that is washing over the household too. So although I thought I wouldn't get anything done this month, I see breaking into the digital Christmas pages next week. Also, this week I started with the sorted and cleaning of the craft room/office, which has been a dumping ground for everything this past year. I've made great progress!! Hurray! But....My craft desk is piled so high with stuff that needs sorting and organizing. The lowest spot is still over 1 foot high. Hope to get it finished tomorrow. Maybe I can talk DH into putting up my new pegboard before hunting season (Nov 15), that would free up several sections of shelving. I see getting totally doing art journaling or a mixed media canvas after Thanksgiving. My favorite way to get back into scrapping after a break.

I've been busy with a sick and injured kitty so I haven't been doing any scrapping the last couple of days. The little guy is on the mend but he needs to be monitored pretty closely. I printed all the journaling for my review layouts yesterday and cut some of it out. I just wasn't into while seeing my little guy suffering so I put it away. I'm sure all you cat ladies understand.

grammadee you are an inspiration with how much you accomplish! I have today off and I have't made it into my scrap room yet. I must admit I'm just really enjoying some quiet time because I have the house to myself for a few hours. I will head up there soon though because DD and her boyfriend will be here later to watching wrestling (of all things!). I can't stand that stuff so I said they can have the TV downstairs and i will head up to my safe haven and scrap awhile. I have finished 5 pages of my 2015 DIsney album so far this month so that is at least something. Elsabelle I hope your kitty is doing better. One of my dogs had to have surgery not long ago and it sure upsets things when they aren't feeling like themselves so I know how you feel.

Thank you, grammadee , nitad , and iheartpaper. I see some improvement in him today. I'm so relieved. My SS Hello Fall stuff came in the mail yesterday and it's SO cute! I can't wait to use it!

Oooh, Elsabelle , Hello Fall is so pretty. I barely used my Pumpkin Spice from last year, so I refrained from that collection. I'm still waiting for inspiration to strike. I set up some 3x4 photos, 2 each onto a 6x4 format, using PicStitch. Once those are printed, I plan on using them in my Crafty Travels travelers notebook. I had a crafty summer, with an Amy Tangerine workshop, Queen Bee Craft luncheon, and TH Summer of Creative Chemistry. I tried uploading a picture of the notebook cover, but I keep getting an error. Grrr. I'm also starting a new SS 9x12 pocket-page album for random events. I have a lot of Halloween party pictures, so I'll probably start there and work my way back for other pictures from this year. I realized that I need pictures in my hand to be inspired, so that has become my priority. Edit, print, print, print.

hope you find your mojo soon, oaksong . Printing the photos could certainly help. I have to say that I have yet to really "feel it", but I have been able to just let my supplies take me wherever they will on my Christmas cards. Hoping that a crafty day with justjac next week will get my right brain firing. Have fun, Elsabelle! I abstained--so far--from Hello Fall, but I really do love all those fall colours. Around here they last maybe ten minutes, so very precious, but I missed them this year because I left when tree leaves were just starting to turn, and returned home when they were all gone. Have my FALL tub out and am using up some of the Thanksgiving lines in my gratitude journal. I managed to put some pages together for that this morning so I will have them to post while I am away over the weekend. Also pulled some photos and papers from my stash to help me get back into it when I return.

I'm up to date (including today)on my 30 days of thankful, but really need to work on my sister and her family plus my moms albums. I have probably five weeks until the party, but everyone knows how busy this time of year is.

It's like a pile of stories waiting to be told! I use the project life app to put multiple pictures on 4x6 and 5x7's. Love doing that! Your workshops and luncheon sound very fun!

Elsabelle, glad your kitty is improving. It stinks to have sick pets or kids. Editing and printing photos is my least favorite activity, so good luck there. I rearranged shelving and have made great progress in putting things away. I still have a bit left to go. Hopefully I'll finish this week. Hope everyone else is having productive crafting time.

I managed to get nine layouts finished for my sister and family's albums...yay! The motivation is gone now...

iheartpaper, you have been busy. Great job! Hubs won't put up the pegboard yet until I get my metal tool cabinet that he got me at a garage sale in place. He thinks the pegboard won't be useful with the cabinet in place. (I need a new work surface before I can put it up.)

Yay! I missed the part where you would be a surprise...how fun! What a treasure the scrapbook must be for her! Yes - I live some distance away (FL and she's in RI) and I haven't seen her in a couple of years. I flew up to Vermont where my sister lives and she and I drove down to mum's - mum knew my sister and her fiance were coming for the weekend but had no clue I wasn't in Florida. It was an awesome surprise!

After a late night (I think I finally went to bed at 3:00am) I just couldn't be creative today. I did one 12x12 page for my sisters album that I'm not totally thrilled with. I'm going to look at it with fresh eyes tomorrow and see if I want to take the pictures off and start fresh or if I can tweak it just a bit. I have never been able to be very creative when I'm tired, so I should have waited for a new day.
Hope everyone is finding time to be creative!

Well I had the time yesterday, and some photos, to put together a few more gratitude journal pages. (I am now covered to the 19th if I can't get back to scrapping until then) The ones I did yesterday are not gold star pages, but they are done and I am moving on... Actually I will be on the road in about an hour, heading out for the 5 1/2 hour drive to stay with kids and grandkids for the long weekend. So the focus will be on making memories and taking photos for later scrapping. No play with paper until I get back to justjac's on Monday, when we plan to make some Christmas cards. Glad your weekend went so well, linda. I am sure you will have some great photos. Did you get a shot of her opening the door and see you? Hope today goes more smoothly creatively for you, iheartpaper. And that you are feeling better, LisaDV, and you have managed to create enough order around you that you can start making a mess again. Wishing you all a crafty weekend!

iheartpaper, I have a hard time doing anything when I'm tired too. grammadee, enjoy your long weekend. In lieu of cleaning yesterday, I pulled one of my last 5 pre-made page kits and started on the pages within. It's 4th of July 2015. I did a very simple double page yesterday. I still have 2 more pages to do which I hope to start working on today.

My life is still all wrapped up around the cat these days so I haven't done any scrapping. It wouldn't be too much of a challenge to finish up my journaling but I haven't had the energy or interest to do it. I'm just kind of drained. I'm happy to hear that you're all getting some crafty things done, though. Linda , I'm also happy to hear that your gift was well received.

Elsabelle I hope your kitty is doing much better. grammadee Have a wonderful long weekend! Linda what a wonderful surprise for your Mum. I managed to catch up on my PL album last week so I'm now only a week behind. I signed up for Shimelle's new class and I've been so inspired I've been working on three layouts simultaneously.

Well, I finished my election layout. Now, I tell you, when I originally posted that thread and had the idea to make an election layout, I thought it was going to be a sure thing one way. So I had finished the layout by mid-day, just waiting for the final results that night.
It took me two days later to finally stick down the letter stickers that spell "Trump" on my "And the winner is:" line.
But it's done, it's put away, and that is that.
I need to write down my reaction on a separate piece of paper, and also my hopes.
I started working on a Halloween 2016 related layout, of my youngest decorating a pumpkin with foam face shapes ($1.99 at Walgreens). I've already made the title with mix & match alpha stickers from my stash in the right colors, and I'm using paper from the only Halloween paper I own, a 6x6 pad that is on its final leg.
I know I'll love the layout because I love the photo.

Elsabelle , how's your kitty? LavenderLayoutLady , I love mix & match titles, but I rarely ever do them. I finished my other 2 pages from July 2015. Now, that whole darn everyday chores of life is getting in my way. grr. lol. **ETA** After posting the above, I pulled up my digital Christmas 2007 folder and completed 4 more layouts. It always feels good to get part of the larger project finished. Then I added my pages into my spreadsheet --- I'm at 99 pages for the year so far! Woot Woot! ***ETA*** again - I just broke for lunch and finished 2 more digital pages.
